Ok, the dialogue and voices are incredible in this version. The actors did such a good job- you can hear the heaviness in their voices. The Music has really never been matched either. The tracks themselves are masterpieces as well. But can we also address the art animation? What beautiful screen art, characters, the foreground, the B roll. It’s a gorgeous viewing experience.

The 80s and 2000s were pretty good too. Gurren Lagaan and Geass were so good they killed mech genre and Sword Art and the Isekai Genre killed everything else.
The Manga really showed Hiko's power better. There when he takes off his cloak it hits the ground harder and he explains not only does it have shoulder weights but springs that oppose his muscles thus making him have to exert more effort even in daily things so he's both training himself and suppressing his power when its on. Another thing was before he attacked Kenshin he swung his sword at the ground and cut it with nothing more then sheer wind pressure.
Amazing how changing to the "evil" state, where Kenshin has yellow eyes, is normally a threat to any opponent he is fighting against, but with Hiko it is Kenshin who was under the threat and almost die if continued like that.

In real life as well GOD forgives each of us for our many past mistakes no matter how far we have gone astray, when we realize that GOD Loves us more than we could ever know, He has good plans for our Lives whatever circumstances we are in HE Loves us so. Many worldly desires would make us do wrong things because of Wealth, Lusts, Envy, Hate & Resentment, our pleasure seeking world we do the wrong thing even thou we try to do the right thing. Our Guilt from our past choices & mistakes harden our Hearts but thru CHRIST we can`t deny that GOD Loves us so much that HE Believes in our goodness inspite of all that which we have done HE Forgives us Restoring us through HIS Saving Grace JESUS that we may become the person We were meant to be showing our Creators Love & Goodness in each & every one of us. Our Lives are not wasted, the best things of Life has not yet passed us by as JESUS is our new beginning HE washes our Guilt & Sins, We are Loved indeed+

I get where you're coming from but it's kinda like saying a drug addict or alcoholic was "cooler" when they were still doing those things. I definitely relate to Kenshin's change and am glad this anime exists, it reminds me of the "manslayer" I used to be.
