I know throwing ribbons or streamers at artists is a sign of respect and appreciation from the audience so this deserves 1000 or more.

    • @thiagoventuradesousa7275
      @thiagoventuradesousa7275 Год назад

      4:40 is also a good strike, if you think more in a "war-like" situation. You have motion to kill one and clean your field of vision by putting that one on the ground faster , knock out other comming to you with the tip of your saya and still have body motion to deliver a strike on that same second or on a third person.

    Nice demonstration lol. Loved the reenactment.
    The only (reasonable) thing shy is that the ougi is supposed to be a two staged attack such that the first swing might miss, but a full 360 rotation with the sword coming again (as opposed to the sheathe follow up in Ryu-Sou-Sen) if the first attack is blocked, parried, or misses.
    What would have also been a hilarious move to show was in the anime filler arc - Ryu-Mei-Sen -- the sword of light that blinded Kenshin for a while.

      Kuzuryusen is literally impossible, because it's supposed to simultaneously strike all 9 vital spots on the foe's body from a normal kendō stance, not consecutively like the video shows here.

    Who else is excited to watch the remake anime series that's started? So far, it looks like it's sticking closer to the manga. I hope we finally get the full Tenshu Arc animated this time. So far they're blending the comedic style of the original anime with the more serious tone of the OVAs. Regrettably, this seems to mean no 'calling your attack.' Otherwise it's looking good so far.

    since hiko said the best hiten mitsurugi's attack is kuzu ryu sen (9 directional attack), amakakeru ryu no hirameki is defence stance that surpass every incoming slash of the enemy, no matter whoever your enemy is, if your life depends on 1 single blow, boosted adrenaline and will of living gave u strenght that every human have inside them.

    Kograshi and Arashi are aerial spinning attacks with the sword
    Ryu Son San (the Raid attack) 9 vital areas targets 9 areas at a high-speed almost simultaneously.
    Kuzu Ryu Sen targets all 9 vital areas so fast it is simultaneous

    It is interesting to see the final technique to be a dashing slash from battou stance, unlike in the anime where he does it standing (zero?) stance, into a batto jutsu with an extra step. Also, a good additional bonus would be the Souryusen-Amakakeru Ryu No Hirameki combo, or the double Amakakeru Ryu No Hirameki, performed in the anime during the final battle with Shishio

    Of all these techniques, Ryukansen and Souryusen actually make sense even at normal speed. Amakakeru ryu no hirameki could even work provided that you could fool your opponent into thinking you're ending the attack on your right foot instead of the left.
