Excellent, from what I understand this is commonly worn out so it’s good to get it taken care of. It’s unfortunate that you have to rely on others, hoping you have a good experience!
Is there a reason why you didn't apply some anti-seize to the fasteners and the threaded rod? I'm in Northern Utah and put anti-seize on all suspension components as it sure aids if/when they need to come apart again. I wish I had that kind of room under my Monaco. Mike
Normally I do use anti seize, just did not think about it for these big bolts. As you can see we do not get much in the way of rust etc being in the south. All my brake parts etc that are regular service items do get plenty of anti seize on them.
Here is what I bought on eBay: www.ebay.com/itm/282015119663?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=AY27EhmHQqu&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=Whnaop0FR3a&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Thanks Rodney! It’s a known wear item on Wanderlodges, they tend to be worn out, so I decided to replace it. Can not really hear anything from the back when driving over that Detroit! Haha
Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Good job!
I am amazed you can get in that area to do the work,i was too big to fit that space when i was 8yo!!
By getting the air dryer out from down there it opens the place up. Glad I moved it even more now!
Getting lined up for that same repair on the FC 😎
(& the pain of hiring it out since we still aren’t on mainland often enough to do it ourselves)

@@GinosGarageUSA thanks for the reply. Just curious as I use anti-seize on everything here, large or small. 😁
Perfect timing, I just realized I need to do the same on my ‘82 PT. What was the part number for the panhard bar you ordered? Thanks! -Derek

First!!! Hell of a nice job Jeff!! Was there some noise generated from that piece that made you change it? Thanks!
