How to fill out form for upcoming tax changes to your YouTube earnings UK

See new updated video with more detail. I completed mine in English for a UK resident I share how I did it to help anyone else in the UK • Getting UK Tax Residen... This is how i filled my application and i am not a TAX expert please ensure you relate to your own personal circumstances. This video was filled out for my circumstances. There was an updated video that also came out with more details. I don't think many people watched that one as they either didn't get notified or they didn't subscribe. in that video, as a backup, I mentioned ticking all 3 as if you ever earn by the other means you won't need to refill the form • Detailed Step by step ... again as I am not a tax expert and just some guy on RUclips telling you how I did my form people should get professional advice which can be more specific to their own channels criteria.
The UK and US have a tax treaty which means you shouldn't pay tax twice. Also please note this is how i did it, It may not necessarily be right for everyone circumstances. I would recommend getting your own legal/tax advice to anyone watching this video
You will need to complete a form W8-BEN where you declare to RUclips that you are a UK taxpayer.
When asked for your taxpayer identification number (TIN) you will provide your British NI number.
When completing your UK tax return you will be able to deduct these taxes which have already been paid from your tax liability.
You do not pay tax twice if your country has a tax treaty with the US. They simply deduct tax and then send you the receipt to file when you file tax, if your country owes more tax (Canada ie) then you pay the remaining owing balance

Followed this video months ago as i am a UK resident and have just been taxed a large amount. To fix this you must:
1) Go to Adsense, settings, Tax info
2) Submit the form again as it states in this video
3) at 2:47 make sure all three boxes are ticked not just adsense
4) 0% Tax for UK residents :)

But under that it said Form W-8 BEN: Default
Motion picture and TV Default WHT rate: 30%
Other copyright Default WHT rate: 30%

I've completed the from with my NI, once I hit over the £1k from April-April I plan to register self employed/self assessment which I'm hoping is the right move

To my knowledge, it is... I have deactivated/closed my Self Assessment (did not end self employment , just closed Self Assessment temporarily) because I was constantly under £1k every year, lol. I'm happy they implemented this change, saves you time and energy by not having to send pointless tax returns, when you're not even making enough to pay tax 🤦

One question however: the section that asks you to check your documents states: "I confirm that I have reviewed the generated tax documents to the best of my knowledge and believe they are true, correct, and complete." Yet it doesn't have my D.O.B. and I was never asked for it, will that be an issue?
Edit: Did some research and found that DOB cannot be added via adsense and that it's supposed to be directly taken from your google account, checked my google account and there it is. Why it isn't on the form then is anyone's guess but I submitted the form and it was approved.

Is it worth starting a youtube account if you have to pay tax UK? Do you have to pay an accountant lots of money? if you opened a new bank account then it should be easier?
