- So one with more mods for our new facelifted Honda Civic Type R FK8 and onto the PRL Intake pipe and showing you how to fit it.
We will have some dragy results soon from this part also comparing it to stock times and any other times we have done so keep an eye on the channel.

@@PeakPerformanceReviews Not much further on fella. Around 230 or 240 miles now. Already had a stone stuck in the brakes - Made a right racket and thought something had broken at first!
It’s a weekend drive organized by Ryan from ArchGuards. It’s in their website if you’re interested mate. Place my order from a set of front guards as I’m already sick of the stone noise!

Do you have an FK8 too? Or just like them also? Where are you based?
I’m so tempted to install this in my 2019 FK8, never done an install before.
If I had to give a difficulty rating out of five I would only say this is a 2 out of 5, you’d need to be careful but it isn’t too bad. It’s such a great mod and worthwhile for sure.

@@PeakPerformanceReviews Cheers mate. Yeah I’ve watched a few installation vids and it looks fiddly but doable. How long would you say it would take to do? Any performance gains? I’m from England (North East). Own a black FK8.
@@Highlander1518 yeah it can be just watch the key things imo in my vid, the water clamp position as you don’t want that to chafe and the lock/security pin/clamp bolt thing can be wiggled off imo.
It took me about 45 minutes, I think if your clued up on Installs and a good engineer after watching a vid like mine I think you could do it in 20-30 mins.
Imo 45- 1hr 30 being careful and meticulous, be don’t worry if it take longer. Always take your time with things.

@@Highlander1518 thats the best way, a highly stressed half day on it etc is not the way, knowing you have a full day is the way forward for sure. How long have you owned the car? Any more mods on it yet?
I would like to know if the prl admission does not damage something in the engine over time since I am about to install one
I had mine on for over a year with no issues whatsoever. The motor also is said to be able to take even upto 500bhp with no issues so yep confirmed right here.

Thanks fella I appreciate the kind words, yes it has a K&N panel filter inside the stock air boxcar they work very well together.
Bargain for the both of them for about 11bhp and 11 ft lbs of torque.

@@Dav1072 honestly a must, it helps produce a little bit of extra sound. Not much don’t get me wrong but a little and it seems and has been proven to pull better and make the car a tiny bit of power and torque which for the money is a must imo.
These two parts are a match made in heaven why has been proven.
