hi everyone, thank you for all the support on my videos recently and all the lovely comments! i’m glad to hear you all like watching these silly commentary videos. i certainly do intend to make more but please bear with me as i am currently working and studying a lot and don’t have much time to edit as is (and it also depends on which of my hobbies i feel like doing in my spare time lol. and yes i do type and edit the subtitles in these videos manually if you were wondering so it takes a while to edit). anyway thanks for your patience and hopefully i will have some new videos for you guys in the next few months :)

Tourists to Australia, please know that drop bears are especially aggravated by American accents. I don't know why, but the tonality is just too much for them. The best way to avoid being dropped on is to either avoid trees, or otherwise rub Vegemite somewhere on you (I think it's the top of your lip if memory serves correctly) to confuse them.

Does Colin sit in on the caves of androzani commentary? I don't know why, but I really do love the five era commentaries. You can tell this TARDIS Team had so much dedication and chemistry. I'm simply in love with them.
From what I remember he does not I’m afraid, it’s just Peter, Nicola and the director Graeme Harper. Afaik this is the only multi doctor commentary although I haven’t listened to the five doctors yet. But yeah I totally agree, the five era commentaries are absolutely the best and some of the most entertaining.
I hope that there are more Amsterdam stories that they have although I assume that they are better not be told out loud in front of BBC 🤣Colin Baker is so great in this one, I hope to see edits from his commentaries!

It's so good, there's this whole sequence where Pete is sort of poking gentle fun at the late Anthony Ainley by fake-praising him, and Janet says something like "They can't see your face, Pete!" And he goes "I'm very tired." I don't know, impossible to explain but so funny...

I definitely plan on making more I just work way too much so I never have any time 😭 I would definitely recommend listening to the full commentaries though if you can
@@harrycarson6526 off the top of my head anything with the first 5th doctor tardis team is pretty funny (also planet of fire), also ones with david tennant and catherine tate (so fires of pompeii and journeys end). sometimes they are a bit repetitive because certain actors like to complain about the same stuff which is what I usually cut out but they are definitely worth a listen. I’ve heard the five doctors commentary with like carol ann ford, nicolas courtney etc is pretty good too.

You should do one for The Five Doctors commentary with Davit Tennant, Phil Colinson and Helen Raynor, that ones just them gushing and making fun of the episode.
I use a program called Handbrake to turn the DVDs into mp4! I just have to find the right audio channel for the commentary which sometimes takes some experimentation. And for Blu-ray Discs i use an additional program called makemkv which allows me to rip bluray with handbrake and also watch the discs with vlc :) It’s a little bit of a process to set up but so so so useful once you know how to do it. Would also recommend a decent PC.
yea I really wanna do that one! Will get my hands on a copy of it within the next month or so maybe but we’ll see how long it takes to edit lol. Maybe by December 😅😅😅

I love Collin's American & Jamaican accents. These DVD commentaries are treasures.
Shame Peter didn’t do commentary on any of Colin’s stories.
He was in Colin's behind the sofa for Season 22 so at least we got that.

The 5th doctor was feeling really prideful about saving Peri, which caused him to think about that time he met a guy with a peacock hat.
Everything up to and including Androzani was cynical, bitter, mean. So he became the pinnacle of all those things. The guard who tried to execute him.
