For me, Jeepers Creepers one has the best build ups in a horror movie *EVER* . I remember the first time watching it and just anticipating what is going to happen as it all unfolded, ‘who is that thing??’ or ‘what is that thing??’ as well as other questions all over. Once everything was revealed halfway throughout the movie I was like wow, what a rollercoaster haha! This kind of feeling never gets replicated in modern movies for me now, very rarely if ever.
What I don`t understand is if they know it will wake up in 23 years and they had managed to capture it and had access to it while it was in slumber, why didn`t they chop it up in small bits and burn it to ashes?! Totally getting rid of it. 🤔🤐
the same reason why after sealing away something evil/powerful they don't destroy the key to open said prison. I really wish there would be a movie that ends with the bads guys finding out - after who knows how many challenges - that the key is destroyed and the evil plans were useless (it would even matter if the reason behind their plan was true or not).
or put it in a lab where people wants to know how to be immortal. but your right that people on horror movies are dumb so that there will be a victim in horror movies

I only had watched the first 2 for years as I love them both, never bothered or cared for the third one, until I found out a fourth one had released. That’s when I decided I may as well attempt the third one before moving onto 4 but it was one of the biggest waste of time ever and had to turn it off. The saddest thing is how they never got the Creature as a killer in the Dead by Daylight game and most likely due to the offences that the director was convicted of back in the days.
