I always knew this kid was going to be a international pro someday, but man, we know him here like since he was 8, and now being just 14 he is already at The Berrics! This is impressive for us brazilians, we have so many talents out here

Born in Venice CA and I think Brazil arguably has the best skaters in the world
@@barabbjorn, part of the reason at least here in Sāo Paulo is that there are tons of mini skateparks all over. Near my house I have 5 within walking distance. As someone who grew up skateboarding in California and now live in Brazil is how a lot of Brazilians skate a type of wood decks made out of called marfim(Portuguese name) down here as it's about half the price of a maple board.
The skate culture from what I've seen is also very inclusive from both beginners and seasoned skaters alike which I love.

You know I like the fact that he knows he’s good. If asked if he’s good he acknowledges it. But he still seems humble enough about his whole thing. Confident kid man. He’s chill too. I like him.
I don't get why people bring up the word humble after seeing this video...
Yes, he is incredibly good, and chances are high he'll be in the future olympics. But to say that of yourself and how special you are is not humble, it's confident and also cocky.

Listen to 1:30 "I know I'm super good and maybe special", a person who is humble would never say that of himself.
But the emotional music, his accent and innocent look make people believe that.
And then saying 2024 he's gonna be in the olympics for sure. What about other kids that aren't discovered yet? I'd suggest him to better be modest towards the public. Not every child prodigy has a bright future, no matter how good they are.

He has such a stoic confidence in his demeanor. He really acts in a way that he knows what he does is going to happen, or that it has already happened and he just needs to live his path up until the point to which it does.
He’s manifesting his dreams for sure and it’s inspirational and aspirational as hell

@Cheerio Box I agree. He’s got a great head on his shoulders, and at such a young age; it also doesn’t seem forced on him, but just the way he is. Such a shining future ahead of him if his character is never compromised. I really look forward to watching his career unfold and take shape.

Kudos to him and his father. His father for trusting in him and pushing him, and him for putting in the blood sweat, and tears. His bond with his father must be so strong. If I have a kid, I pray I can be there for them like his father. Its truly so beautiful.

I don’t know how to put this but the kid flows like a professional adult skater. Like he isn’t awkward at all, very smooth with every shift of his weight. It seems so natural and easy to him. Like dude, heelflip bs board everything in the park like nbd is incredible for anyone to do, especially insane for a kid his age. This is amazing...

I feel like the dad should get a lot of recognition for this as well.. without him this wouldnt have happened for sure. all the support makes a huge difference. not taking away from his skill of course, but the younger you start in something the better you will be by this age, and usually parents play a major role.
