I think the same, although recently my iPhone fell down the stairs and if it weren't for the Elite cases from Vionentus I don't think it would have held up as well as it did.
It would be hilarious if you went back to the apple store immediately to get it repaired. Let them wonder how you managed to wreck the phone in less than a day.
I know it’s been a month, but I got a 16 pro 24 hours ago. Fortunately I chose to get AppleCare. 9 hours later it fell out of my pocket and smashed. I took it to the store, where a manager had to manually approve my repair as the policy was so new. They replaced the screen for £25. That’s immediately saved me about £150 vs the cost of a non insured repair, and the policy still has 2 years left!
Sam, I think you need to do another durability test, but this time a little differently. Get a 15 Pro/Max and a 16 Pro/Max, take a pebble, and drop it onto each of the phones’ screens respectively, from various heights. This will eliminate the variables of the angle of drop, edge impact, etc., and prove the differences in the actual screen durability.
This is true. They use desert sand instead of soapstone, and the curing process they use is different as well because of the different lime process instead of calcium aluminate. This is an unfair test for Americans.
