I love that Zach and Paul don't really talk during the shots, which is more like traditional golf coverage.

I totally agree. There was a moment watching this where I thought to myself “wow we finally made it. It feels like I’m watching a real tv sport.”

I loved Zach's commentating, but I disagree with this take. I can't last more than 20 minutes with live coverage because of how dry they commentate. I need Jerm and Paul energy to watch sports or I'm simply not watching.

Playing a course I've never played before, card let's me play through, I ask what the play is. Guy says "see that basket over there? Throw it in that." Thanks guy, never would have thought.
Melton was awesome. The little insights he was able to add by having walked with Calvin the whole tournament were great.
Zach did a great job this tournament. Would love to see more of him.

I want to hear more of his personal takes rather than always agreeing with Paul. Best hole flyover descriptions yet, which is weird since he's a lefty giving righty descriptions.

@@revolver37 I think Jerm is a fantastic commentator. But since Sexton isn’t doing much commentary this season I think Melton would be a great (i don’t want to call it a replacement) stand in.
Love Zach. I say bring him in the group. Funny, knowledgeable, says just the right amount. If sexton isn’t there he should be.
Really, really, really want more Zach Melton. I want the commentators to also have such intimate knowledge of the final round card. The conversations, the one inch misses we can’t see, the familiarity with the throws. Bravo, Zach. Thank you so much!

Uli and Zach crushed it with the commentary throughout this tournament. Really enjoyed those two, very easy listening commentary. Calvin is so fun to watch.

Really special to have Zach commentate and get some insight into what Calvin is thinking. Plus, Zach's a natural and is very pleasant to listen to. I hope we hear more of him in the future--- maybe BigMelt'nBerry?

I love how Zach settled in over the three rounds and was his normal natural self in the final rounds, good job buddy.
It's also super fun having someone who is on the bag for these top pros commentating. Having the insight on the disc selection and what's going through the player's mind is just something we don't hear too often.

Great coverage and commentary as always. Zach is a natural on live and Jomez. Really loving the R1F9 storytelling intro and the players comments before the the F9's about their previous round/how they are shooting and feeling.

I was shocked that Calvin ran the putt on 17. I thought he was going to layup for sure 😮

@@lynch42o , yeah but he was putting at the water from outside C1. Those two strokes could easily disappear.
His misses are almost always dead center cage, so not as dangerous in the situation.
Crowd was absolutely awesome this weekend and especially on final day here. Weather was beautiful and the course is a dream to spectate and walk! Great being able to talk to all the pros including Zach who killed it this weekend in the booth

Zach and Uli did so good, don't get wrong I like Jerm but he can be overwhelming and he seems to just talk over paul the whole time. It was nice to get to hear him for a change.
Yes it was nice to not have him constantly contradicted. Melton would expand on the things he agreed with. “Yes. And …!”

It was great having Zach join the team for the weekend! but as an added plus I really loved his insight from being Calvin's caddy!
I really like the chasing card check-ins, also 5th cards etc.. Especially presenting not so famous players to the audience.

This lead card final round was some of the best disc golf I've seen in a long time.

I was spotting, so got to see every player in the tournament. Some rough moments: losing track of discs behind big oak canopies, almost getting hit by an AB bomb, and getting booed by Kat Mertsch (actually a funny moment). I was so impressed by the player's attitudes, never noticing anything but a real happy spirit among them, even those that might not be playing great. A real honor to help out these fantastic people.
Great commentary. A cool groove. Rathbun is hammering at the gate. His time will come.

Zach Melton would be a WONDERFUL permanent….or at least rotating…3rd to BigBarri commentary. He seems like he would really balance out the dynamic and provide even more thoughtful insight and perspective to the team 🎉🎉🎉

Pleeeeaaaaaase export in 4K 60!!! It honestly doesn't matter if it's shot in 1080 60, but youtubes compression is horrendous on 1080 now. Otherwise great coverage per usual!

You guys do a great job love the content! Not sure if you guys notice but sometimes on tee shots the disc that is mentioned above player score and name is wrong, as well sometimes the person putting has the wrong name/score card showing next to them such as the end of hole 14, noticed this in a couple videos not a big deal just wasn’t sure if y’all are aware!

Very good job guys. I have to say I kinda missed the ongoing stats bit in the rounds that Big Jerm brings, but I felt it was a very professional commentary.

I know its silly, but i quite like the illusion that the commentators dont know whats going to happen. Melton breaks that illusion often, very enjoyable otherwise.

As much as I like Jerm as the personality commentator, I really appreciated the commmentary here being much more focused on the game and not being so chatty while the players are making shots. I'd love to see Melton on the mic more often.

What weight are the chains in these baskets? They just look, on camera, so much smaller than my Mach II chains.

Loved Zach on the commentary! Thought the dynamic between him and Uli was awesome, and even thought it was better than with Jerm. It seemed to force him into a little less goofiness, and a little more good pro insight.

More a general comment: I wish the leader would putt it on 18 with the win in hand. I get the layup if its some roll away risk... But from 15' on flat ground?... Finish in style. Nothing bad is going to happen.
It’s more about the other players on the card getting to concentrate on their putts instead of having to deal with people celebrating the victory. Plus it's great for the winner to be the last shot of the tournament. It makes for a great scene. Go watch the FPO end to see what I’m talking about.
