Great Vid …I just want to say Thank you for speaking slowly and explaining everything perfectly 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you! You are one of the unspoken hero’s of RUclips. Simple and clear (with part number) saved me $500 plus install to do it myself following along in my garage.
Thank you for this video, i disconnected the part and plugged it back in. Fixed my issue, i ordered a new replacement part in case it stops working. Thank you soo much.
Where did you buy it? It is not available in amazon
@@joralmu2005 on their website, there's a replacement part.
@@01CAMRY thanks!
@@joralmu2005 takes a couple of months if it's on backorder
Is this the same procedure for Chamberlin garage door opener’s
I get code 1-5 should i replce the module or the motor?
What were the symptoms if the bad travel module? I have a 97 craftsman that wont travel down. I’ve purchased sensors (they could be bad as well) and the LEDS are lit. Still wont travel down. Not even when pressing and holding the wall button.
Good question. If I recall the door was slamming the ground and stalling the motor so it buzzed and then finally stopped. It was harsh, imprecise door actuation. Also had errors on the digital LCD display on the wall button. My door did actuate, unlike yours.
@@bzeug i believe I’ve discovered that the issue with mine is the rpm sensor.
Hi..is this related to an Excessive Force Load error I am getting on my opener? tx
If I recall correctly I think it is. I remember my door opener was hitting the end stops so hard I thought it was going to break something.
