I really like your videos. Thanks! I searched but I didn't find a deep dive into exploring Sonoma County. You have a lot about Napa, but only one video about Santa Rosa that I saw. I'm biased because I've lived in Sebastopol for 42 years, but I think that Sonoma County has a lot more to offer than Napa. We have most everything that Napa offers plus giant redwoods and a remarkable stretch of beaches. World class restaurants and wineries. The best pinot noir on the planet IMO. And, the people are nicer, more down to earth. Again, I'm biased so check it out yourselves.
Highway 120 is opening on Saturday. The hiking up there's going to be great.
Hope everything is ok with you, Amy, the twins and ofcourse your adorable dad and mom. Love your videos. Wherever your next adventure is, safe travels ❤
Alexander Valley, Coppola Winery, Sterling Vineyard & Hook & Ladder
Thanks for the suggestions!
Thank you so much for this wonderful video!
I learned a lot while enjoying this vlog!
Hugs!🧡🧡💛💛💚💚💙💙💜💜
Just back from St Helena In Napa, weather, food and wines were very good. We absolutely love the area
Great videos always, keep it coming!
Thank you Josh and Amy SO good to see you with Pops on the live stream! Can not wait for the New videos!!
as someone who isn't really into regular wine, more dessert wines, that castle is a must visit. Now not exactly a winery but French Laundry is a must visit
I want to go there someday! It is hard to get into haha
I was there in April. My best friends bucketlist. We hit up #2 on your list, BR Cohen ( summer concerts) and...
Imagry winery which was my favorite! Art museum inside, organic Indiginous process and ask them how the owners met and the first image they put on the bottles- so cool !
coming in california next week for 15 days, let me just send a great great thank you! you did a wonderful job making up all your video. My stay in california will be different thanks to "your lens". love
Lodi wine my friends.
It is a great spot to wine taste! Been a while since I have been to Lodi
Those look like wonderful wineries. Thanks for reviewing. I usually go once a year to avila beach to sample wine at avila wine and roasting company. Manny will school you on his wines and you will discover some amazing treasures. As for bucket list locations in CA, I can never get enough of the eastern sierras but I don’t want them to be spoiled by too many people finding out about them. But I’m going the end of the month. Can’t wait. Thanks as always for posting
Catapualt. Seriously 2:49. Where's the iron maiden? Must go. Wine cave tours. Perfect. Thanks for paring down the daunting hundreds of wineries out there. Personally, i would just enjoy spending hours in one spot.
Castillo de amorosa is an amazing winery but i had yet to know it was connected to v sattui! Great video, totally sends me back to my visits to napa :)
I really enjoyed Beringer….. property was beautiful
V Sattui is my top choice as well - their Gamay Rouge is incredible. There are more wine regions of NorCal that are equal to Napa quality without the sticker shock - Lodi nearby (Oak Farm Vineyards, Michael David) and Livermore (Wente, Ruby Hill), even next to Napa in Fairfield are affordable tastings (Wooden Valley)
I need to spend more time in those areas for sure!
You should come back to Missouri, we have a beautiful wine country route ❤
@4:03 that made me laugh out loud! 😆
Wow!! All five looked incredible! Castillo was my favorite! How on earth did they build that?!
this attraction is great
Bucket list idea? Take your camera to Death Valley!! Only in the winter though. I'd love to see what footage you get!
hey!!! i saw your all videos and they are awesome. I had one question - we are thinking to do west coast alongwith the iconic national parks. Do you think you it's doable?
Always nice to ms Amie
Hi Josh! Will you ever make a vlog about Calico Ghost Town? Thanks!😊
Do you think this will increase the interior temp while parked this summer?
Off topic, but have you ever done the Chilnualna falls hike in Yosemite? It's in Wawona, started around 6am on a Monday in early May and I only saw a couple ppl starting as I was finishing up, incredibly underrated hike since it's away from the main valley! It might be my fav hike in Yosemite now, plus there's a huge waterfall right at the start of it too, and a small one mid way.
I haven't done that one, I will have to add it to my list. Thanks for the tip!
@@californiathroughmylens no problem, thought you'd like the recommendation. Love the channel, thanks for all the great content!
Great work guys. Next time check out Kendall Jackson in Santa Rosa. Their Chardonnay is Big, Bold and Buttery !
You two are such an adorable couple. Thanks for sharing! 🍷
Can you do a video like this for Sonoma and/or Russian River Valley area? These areas are known for pinot noir and chardonnay. I visited the area a couple of weeks ago and also visited some CA state parks to see Redwoods at Armstrong Redwoods State Preserve and Henry Cowell State Park in Santa Cruz.
I completely agree. Sonoma County has it all and the people are great. Very down to earth.
Josh, you mention you didn’t do all the wineries in one day, How many wineries do you recommend doing in a day based on distance from each other?
Haven't seen content lately. Hope everything is well. Peace.
Hi Josh!Another question..in September I'm going to visit Los Angeles. Do you think that the Art Diatrict, Little Tokyo and the Chinese District are dangerous for a woman during the day? I've read such bad ratings and comments about them and I'm a bit scarried...thank you!
Hey Josh and fam. Noticed both your channels have been quiet this past month. Hoping you are all okay. Blessings
💰💰💰💰🏦
Hi there! Your wife reminds me of Drew Barrymore.
Much prettier than Drew!!
Price ???
How to go to the winery’s?
We drove to them but there are tours that will take you to different spots as well
@@californiathroughmylens especially in California the alcohol limit is very low that’s why I asked
Josh and Amy, while walking down each Winery path: "99 bottles of wine on the wall, 99 bottles of wine, take one down, pass it around, 98 bottles of wine on the wall. 98 bottles of wine on the wall, 98 bottles of wine, take one down, pass it around, 97 bottles of wine on the wall. 97 bottles of wine on the wall, 97 bottles of wine, take one down, passi it around, 96 bottles of wine on the wall..........96 bottles of wine on the wall........etc. etc., etc.......
Sonoma county > Napa
Napa Valley is a trip i would really love to do. From a german point of view: have you ever tried Riesling semi-dry from Mosel river? Luscious ,very fruity, not too pricey and absolutely gorgeous 😍 Cheers!
I haven't it sounds awesome though!
I have and love it! Well, at least the bottle said Germany Mosel and Riesling 😅 Riesling is my favorite!
