I feel you, 100%. The way you described how hostel volunteer's life works and how hard is to say goodbye was exactly the way I would explain it!!! Somehow you feel sad, happy, grateful, scared for not knowing if what's coming would be as great, and on, and on. Definitely something everyone should give a try. Amazing work, awesome video!
As a colombian I think you did a wonderful job showing to the people a different perspective of Colombia as a foreigner and contribute to the image of my country, I hope you could visit other places in Colombia like the amazonas and see the diverse that we have here, thank you so much for sharing all the beautiful things and appreciate our country 💚
One of your best videos Diana. You are a gifted storyteller and it is amazing how freely you share your heartfelt emotions with the audience. Keep up the good work.
Traveling, loving nature and Yoga. Nice to know that there are people who love the same things 😀. Thank you for this and all the videos you put out to the world. Keep on traveling and sharing. Namasté 🕉

So cool seeing these days in your life! Thanks for documenting them so carefully. I bet you are a wonderful yoga teacher. ✨You totally have great energy for it. I'll be attending my cousin's wedding in Medellin in July. Your adventures have been inspiring to me! Your videos make me very excited to visit 🇨🇴.:)
@@dianawanderlust I can't wait... :) I follow you on IG! Didn't mention the wedding but I was just fangirling over the adorable doggos you're hanging out with. 🐾😍

wow, Diana, I watched now 6 or 7 of your worldpackers videos in a row, and every time you're in a different country... I came across you through your Camino Santiago clips... I'd be so curious to hear how you look at it now with so many wide-range perspectives, that you gathered... you surf the world... always staying on top of the wave... 🏄♀🌎
Diana, your experience in Colombia looks absolutely incredible! Working abroad can be so rewarding, especially when you get to immerse yourself in a new culture and contribute to a vibrant community. The Costeño Beach Hostel seems like a dreamy place to be. Keep exploring, keep sharing, and keep inspiring others to step out of their comfort zones. I would like to recomend you to visit another part of Colombia like Choco.
Your videos are so insightful, and I find myself captivated every time I watch them. It feels as though I'm experiencing all the adventures through your perspective. Your inner and outer beauty shines, and your enthusiasm for living your best life is truly inspiring. It has sparked excitement in me as I look forward to embarking on my first world packer volunteer adventure soon. Wishing you a happy new year!
Hi, I like the way You show the real experience that You lived being a volunteer because You show the both sides of living that, it's really beautiful the way You like to help other people and how You enjoy it so much. I am from Colombia and I really apreciate your labor in My country because much local people are not willing to help the community as You do, I recommend You to visit la Guajira which is a beautiful place in Colombia.
OMG just discovered your account and omg I LOVE EVERYTHING about this video!! you give such chill and relatable vibes! am looking to travel around europe next year this time as well and watching your videos make me excited for the endless potential travelling can bring :D
@@dianawanderlust Hi! I haven't been to Europe before! context is i'm from Singapore, which is part of South East Asia. So there's too many places in Europe I want to explore haha I want to visit Switzerland, Greece, Italy, France. But I'm also looking at Eastern Europe to try and keep my budget low as I'm still a student without a solid income. Your perspective is always very balanced compared to most YT videos -- 'it's paradise, but with mean fungi.' 😃 Maybe all that yoga and meditation keeps you grounded, or maybe that's just how you are. I wonder where you will go next.

@@jamieavernaa yes if you only have few weeks, I would just go to different cities and different hostels. On Worldpackers they ask for minimum 2weeks/1 month commitment anyway

Would you recommend this for someone with a full time job who would only do this maybe a few weeks out of a year? ☺

Georgia
This is something I’ve been looking into

Is there any way around that or and information/tips?

Hi Julia do you already have an account?
Something on youtube about certain blood type prone to bites MORE
Hey, did you sleep in the big (32) dorm? And do you get the accommodation for free if you volunteer? Looks great :)
I slept in a 8 dorm room and of course I got it fir free. That’s the whole point of volunteering
How much money for membership?
I think it’s $50 a year but with code you can get $40
Do they pay us for volunteering or I should pay them??
Nobody pays anything, you do the work and they give you food and accommodation
Sometimes, although rarely, they ask you to pay. In Costa Rica it’s impossible to find a good position where you won’t have to pay but that’s usually not the case
Why are you leaving, they dont need a permanent helper?
You can't just stay there forever, and I had some other plans too
