This touches me on a personal level being the fan I am. Aqua has been through so much since she was anointed a Keyblade master one by one her life falls apart. Terra loses his body to Xehanort to only live as a metallic husk and Ventus who bravely gave in to save Aqua and Terra from Vanita's wrath but even that wasn't enough. She is now stuck in a purgatory like state in the realm of darkness for over 10 years which felt like mere days or hours to her. She now lives in mere darkness and to me thats a fate worse than death I do hope Riku and Mickey saves her from the Realm of Darkness I have faith Square Enix.

There is a movie included in the 2.8 bundle about the origin of a group with with animal masks, I forgot what's it called. I'll buy it once I'm done with the game I currently playing.
Honestly, in its own way it is a movie, each animatic forms the story in a new perspective, so depending on how you view it the games are already movies.
All these people complaining about KH3 am I the only one who's actually happy that we got a continuation on the STORY ? Sure we're all waiting for KH 3 true but, for me, as long as the story continues and an ending is provided, which im pretty sure what KH 3 is going to do. Best KH opening to date. Love the sky falling, makes me feel so happy that they are all smiling together and that hard times won't break them. So many emotions. Remembering the first time I played KHBbS and how it eneded, first game I played where the villain actually wins.

I completed my Kingdom Hearts journey just a week away from release of Kingdom Hearts 3 all these games and stories are beautiful, I learned a lot from the characters that impacted my life and to all the people we meet; we have to say goodbye but to see you again. To see how this Dark seeker Saga end is breaking my heart. But I know soon it will be mended. From Our hero's and The Legends, to the pillars of friendship and the nobodies that have hearts❤. Everyone you meet You can make an impact on that person. A Bond thats inseparable and that we can learn lots of lessons on.
As a KH fan from the beginning... I teared up a bit honestly guys... It brought back so many memories of playing these games, and traveling from world to world, fighting heartless and nobodies. Aqua is my favorite character from KH:BBS, And she is my second favorite character next to of course, Sora! I never did play KH DDD I went all the way to BBS and stopped. I believe a quarter of 3 is Sora passing the test, to another quarter rescuing Aqua and finding the rest of the squad to fighting the 13 than some more epic stuff. Terra is inside himself but Xera has full control of the body as if it's his own. Or you could say it is his own body now. So I assume the whole point of the fight is to retrieve his body back too? Kairi was appointed as one of the 7, Lea was hinted, tho that leaves Terra, is he lowkey the 8th or what?

My hopefull theory, warning spoilers if you haven't seen the new KH3 trailers. - I think I'm right in hoping that this trailer is not just a representative of aqua's progression as a character in birth by sleep as well as her progression through the realm of darkness within this game but also what is apparently going to happen to aqua in KH3, as she falls into darkness shown in the resent frozen trailer. Near the end her pendant falls into darkness like aqua but in the end Sora saves her by reaching out, this makes me think there's still hope for aqua though it looks like in the trailer she's been "Nort'd" but I think that there's still hope for aqua.

I'm here to tell you (if you actually want to) that the first game is nothing like the rest of the series, all the other games are less Disney oriented. Although aqua does not become a vital part of the story until after the second game.
Hey, you know what would be great? Understanding that the team that released 2.8 is completely different than the team that's working on 3. Just shut up and wait for 3. The longer they take on the game perfecting the worlds, battle system, and animations, the nicer it'll be. I'd much rather wait 10 years for a kickass game with hours of gameplay opposed to 2 years for a shitty game that only has a week of gameplay. If I can beat a game in 6 days, it's not long enough (then again, I was playing it from 5 am to 2 am, so that's probably all my fault).
I never expected Mickey to look this BADASS! I dabbled in KH1 but never finished it... Can I count on these new PS4 releases to put me up to speed storywise?
I can't find it on RUclips, but IIRC, the build up to Kingdom Hearts II back in the day had an amazing Mickey reveal. You see this cloaked figure running from a swarm of heartless. They surround him and the cloak comes off revealing King Mickey with a keyblade in each hand. Then he just starts cleaning house.
I already have a theory.....A GAME THE- ok but seriously. When kh3 was announced, there was a part during the trailer where Sora picked up Master Eraqus's keyblade off of the Destiny Islands beach. At the end of this opening cinematic, we see Sora reaching his hand to Aqua from presumably that same beach. We know for a fact(from the e3 trailer and playstation acess gameplay footage) that we'll be using that keyblade as aqua during 0.2 so is it possible she gets saved by Mickey, and Mickey takes her back there as Sora could be the symbolism for the Realm of Light (as we saw Mickey in the tgs 2016 trailer). just my theory
glitch hunter This video pretty much alludes to all that. You have Sora reaching in to grab her hand followed by an off shot of water splashing upward, as, if someone surfacing. Symbolic of Sora reaching into the darkness and pulling her out.
hit v yeah but I just remembered what aqua said in the e3 trailer "not even memories are safe from the darkness" so that Mickey could just be an illusion since, after all, we see in the intro he's clearly in his birth by sleep outfit and while in the tgs trailer we see he's in his Re:com outfit. (god this series is confusing even in trailers but I love it lol) But I still think she may be saved finally whether it's Mickey or Sora.

If PS4, get _Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX_. It's the PS4 port of the HD remasters I mentioned earlier but in one single disc and all the games run in 60 FPS. It's coming out in March 2017.
This opening cinematic is for the upcoming _Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue_, coming out on PS4 in January 2017. _Kingdom Hearts III_ concludes the current saga of the series and is on PS4 and Xbox One but we don't have a release date yet.

Best KH opening to date. Love the sky falling, makes me feel so happy that they are all smiling together and that hard times won't break them. So many emotions. Remembering the first time I played KHBbS and how it eneded, first game I played where the villain actually wins.

I completed my Kingdom Hearts journey just a week away from release of Kingdom Hearts 3 all these games and stories are beautiful, I learned a lot from the characters that impacted my life and to all the people we meet; we have to say goodbye but to see you again. To see how this Dark seeker Saga end is breaking my heart. But I know soon it will be mended. From Our hero's and The Legends, to the pillars of friendship and the nobodies that have hearts❤. Everyone you meet You can make an impact on that person. A Bond thats inseparable and that we can learn lots of lessons on.

As a KH fan from the beginning... I teared up a bit honestly guys... It brought back so many memories of playing these games, and traveling from world to world, fighting heartless and nobodies. Aqua is my favorite character from KH:BBS, And she is my second favorite character next to of course, Sora! I never did play KH DDD I went all the way to BBS and stopped. Since at the time, I didn't have a 3ds. KH3 is coming soon. Might not be next year, I want them to make it perfect, but early 2018? Yes. Hell late 2017 would be great, just hope they don't rush it. ^.^ Im planning on getting KH 1.5 and 2.5 on ps4 next year!

Terra is inside himself but Xera has full control of the body as if it's his own. Or you could say it is his own body now. So I assume the whole point of the fight is to retrieve his body back too?

My hopefull theory, warning spoilers if you haven't seen the new KH3 trailers. - I think I'm right in hoping that this trailer is not just a representative of aqua's progression as a character in birth by sleep as well as her progression through the realm of darkness within this game but also what is apparently going to happen to aqua in KH3, as she falls into darkness shown in the resent frozen trailer. Near the end her pendant falls into darkness like aqua but in the end Sora saves her by reaching out, this makes me think there's still hope for aqua though it looks like in the trailer she's been "Nort'd" but I think that there's still hope for aqua.
Of course there is still hope for Aqua. She is one of the seven lights to counter the 13 darkness

I'm here to tell you (if you actually want to) that the first game is nothing like the rest of the series, all the other games are less Disney oriented. Although aqua does not become a vital part of the story until after the second game.

Hey, you know what would be great? Understanding that the team that released 2.8 is completely different than the team that's working on 3. Just shut up and wait for 3. The longer they take on the game perfecting the worlds, battle system, and animations, the nicer it'll be.
I'd much rather wait 10 years for a kickass game with hours of gameplay opposed to 2 years for a shitty game that only has a week of gameplay. If I can beat a game in 6 days, it's not long enough (then again, I was playing it from 5 am to 2 am, so that's probably all my fault).

I can't find it on RUclips, but IIRC, the build up to Kingdom Hearts II back in the day had an amazing Mickey reveal. You see this cloaked figure running from a swarm of heartless. They surround him and the cloak comes off revealing King Mickey with a keyblade in each hand. Then he just starts cleaning house.

I already have a theory.....A GAME THE- ok but seriously. When kh3 was announced, there was a part during the trailer where Sora picked up Master Eraqus's keyblade off of the Destiny Islands beach. At the end of this opening cinematic, we see Sora reaching his hand to Aqua from presumably that same beach. We know for a fact(from the e3 trailer and playstation acess gameplay footage) that we'll be using that keyblade as aqua during 0.2 so is it possible she gets saved by Mickey, and Mickey takes her back there as Sora could be the symbolism for the Realm of Light (as we saw Mickey in the tgs 2016 trailer). just my theory
glitch hunter This video pretty much alludes to all that. You have Sora reaching in to grab her hand followed by an off shot of water splashing upward, as, if someone surfacing. Symbolic of Sora reaching into the darkness and pulling her out.
hit v yeah but I just remembered what aqua said in the e3 trailer "not even memories are safe from the darkness" so that Mickey could just be an illusion since, after all, we see in the intro he's clearly in his birth by sleep outfit and while in the tgs trailer we see he's in his Re:com outfit. (god this series is confusing even in trailers but I love it lol) But I still think she may be saved finally whether it's Mickey or Sora.
