Link was 100% comparing them to homemade biscuits lol
I agree
Even when he said he wasn't going to do that, that man is really peculiar.
I don't see why he wouldn't. Homemade biscuits aren't magically better tasting.
@rubiconnn he said at the start he wasn't going to.
He's comparing them to a biscuit with stuff on it instead of a plain biscuit 😂
Link liking something and giving it a 54 shouldn't surprise me
I think it's really funny that he started giving 54 to things he thought were average, even though those are the highest scores he gave
we really need two scales displayed on screen now lol
Am I the only one who understands Link's scoring methods?
Link's entire life has been a 54 and he is making up for lost time.
And yet it happens to me every time 😅
We MUST see Rhett and Link play Mythical Guess Who
I also want to see Smosh play!
Mold spreads, so Link is right about his scale. 60 would be the best and 100 is no better then 0.
you will have to pay.
I honestly expected the more to be them playing it lol
make this the top comment
Links scale was consistently low but it was *consistent*. That's the most we can ask of him lol
I demand more from Link
I have zero clue how I sat through a 20 minute video where they were like "this one tastes the exact same except now it has layers".
lol, and i bet you could have watched another 20 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@Roy-G-Biv I prob could've lol
R&L are so entertaining and charismatic, that we can be entertained by 20 mins of eating similar biscuits 🤩💚
But now we know which biscuit that tastes the same is the best 🤣
This has been my reaction to nearly every R&L video for 17 years. Here’s to at LEAST 17 more!
Rhett has best-friend-patience that I could never. 😂
The fact that link actually relies on the scales the crew gives is hilarious 😂
Relies on and simultaneously disregards.
Especially since this is literally his job. 😂
If Rhett just throws an entire Gut Check by giving Link-esque scores he might finally get a fancy scoring aid!
Could be a good episode idea if both Rhett and Link cook for each other anonymously
i'm still lobbying for the idea i saw a while back that suggested rhett and link cook for the mythical kitchen in a reversed roles kind of thing
I 3rd this
I NEED this
love that
I'm Australian. I just never imagined there were so many types of canned biscuit...
Frozen too (which are better)
Same, as a Norwegian 😅
As an American I can say that most Americans are never satisfied with just one type of thing lol people just want more variations of everything even if we don't need it lol
Canned scones
American grocery stores are crazy. There are 10-40 varieties of food in a single category.
Rhett & Link: poking fun at people not from the South for being tricked by "Southern" recipes.
Also Rhett & Link: "Ooh, Hawaiian!" 😂😂
But Rhett did say Hawaiian didn't belong in a biscuit . . . and being Georgia born and raised I agree. Hawaiian bread is yummy and perfect for some things but not a biscuit.
@@elizamccroskey1708 That's not the point of the comment hun
Hawaiian rolls are a style of bread. It’s a pretty colloquial style of bread in the states nowadays, kind of lost its association with Hawaii through grocery marketing
Do canned cinnamon rolls next. Guarantee Annie's will take the crown there too. Closely followed by kroger
I was thinking the same thing, except my favorite right now is whatever Aldi's brand are. I'll have to try that one though, maybe it tops
Kroger is crazy delish
homemade all the way
Yes. I want to see that
As a homegrown country boy, this episode really butters my biscuit.
🤤
When I lived in Florida, we called them Whap-em Biscuits 😎
Coo coo coo
I have never loved a comment more
I see what you did there
IDEA: Holiday cookie decorating competition in the style of _Nailed It!_
This is genuis
Bad idea
@@_EmmaGrace789bad attitude.😂
@@_EmmaGrace789great idea
It will escalate like the gift wrapping episodes and I’m all for it
Rhett: "are we being pranked? " had me dying! hahah
Frozen biscuits would have wiped the floor with every canned biscuit.
THIS!!!! Frozen pillsbury biscuits are AMAZING (the closest to any fast food biscuit) and way better than anything’ in a can.
Have you had Annie’s? Seriously? Have you had them?
Good Mythical Morning
Thank you
Bad Real Evening
Your mother
Gooooood mythical morning*
@@garrettman2038no your mother!
As a southerner, frozen biscuits are superior to canned biscuits.
EXACTLY!!! The frozen biscuits are the only ones I buy if needed
Agreed
What?
Agreed.
As a Minnesotan I also agree
I don’t know how this became a thing, but over the years, my meal is not complete without a GMM episode!
As an Australian, I don’t really understand what a biscuit is. Regardless, I’m having a good mythical morning, at 11pm
I think they’re kinda like a scone but they tend to have them with savoury things instead
It's a slightly better fluffy bread that they serve a lot of with meals. It's basically only good when covered in breakfast sausage and gravy or if it's Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay Biscuits.
They aren't hard to make. It's just a fluffy chemical risen bread in the form of a round that goes well with both sweet and savory foods.
I’ve never had an American biscuit but I think it’s like a scone but looks denser
Google could've sorted this very quickly
When is the "we try every camel cigarette"?
Link was definitely comparing them all to homemade grandma’s biscuits
"I haven't left the lower 50s..."
"That means you've not liked any of them."
"I'm not on your scale!"
What does Link think a 50 on a 0-100 scale means??? 😆😭
Rhett did say "according to my scale", before Link said, "'I'm not on your scale!". Just Link do what Link does, they are grown men tasting biscuits for youtube :p they were both a little fussy today
@@andrearebecca9807they were both a little fussy today sent me
Link is an alien in a human suit and doesn’t like human food. It’s the only explanation for his ratings
PLEASE do this but with frozen biscuits. They are SO much better
Am I the only one who's totally on Rhett's side when it comes to ratings? Like he said, even the Link's visual scale days that < 50 is bad, > 50 means that he likes it. What kind of a scale is that if you give something a 38 and say that you still like it? 😂
Even a scale cant help
It felt like Rhett was going on a grocery store biscuit scale and Link was on a scale with all biscuits ever
It's just Link being unnecessarily difficult which he often shamelessly does. 50 means good, a quickie is 13 minutes. No. Stop it. Be human for once.
I've realized links neutral is 10. So if it's meh the highest he'll go is like 50
ultimately doesnt change the results@@olegzhokhsrightarm8849
Now you guys need to do a gut check of bottled sweet tea.
YES! that would be hilarious
Would love to see an episode of Rhett and Link playing their Guess Who game against each other! 😊
if you want to pay then you can
Maybe with the mythical crew as the people
If you eat the Pillsbury ones expecting an actual biscuit you're going to give it a Link scale, if you are eating it for what it is you follow Rhett's. But that feels like literally every episode of these lmao.
Can we take a second to appreciate the prop design for the biscuit podium? They've really got a dedicated & wildly talented team
I love how Rhett knows Link soo well he tried to explain what he was going to do, Link didn't listen as always, and Rhett ended up being right 😂😂😂😂
From a statistical standpoint, link’s scoring was consistent which is all that matters tbh
Sort of,but by using a much wider scale and starting lower it gives his scores more impact, they would have to take the weighted average of the scores at the end to make it actually work
Link's insane random scoring strikes again
They tried to get to artsy with his scale and made it curl around into a circle, it confused him. The man who needs a chart is the man who needs it to be a straight line.
@@Toastybees he even explains that in this video.
Was it really random though? Flawed sure, but he was the most consistent I've ever seen him today lol.
@@nickpurdy69right he says he doesn’t like any and they’re all basically the same his scoring is actually consistent
@@nickpurdy69 He will give something a 57 and then claim the next biscuit is better and give it a 54.
I had hoped that the "Gut check with a twist" was that it was in the dark again. Because that video was great.
Love how link looks at the scale and creates his own.
Link is probably the most serious I've seen. Link is serious about biscuits
Good Mythical Monday. Hoping everyone is doing okay. Thank you for the many years of great funny content. XD
I appreciated Rhett's "Aldi's " shopping cart joke...😂
every gut check makes me wonder more and more how link has made it this far in life.
I love that the crew gives Link the cool, colorful charts and then they started giving Rhett the inferior cardboard charts. I’m here for it 😂
Link is definitely on some spectrum 😂
hoping they play mythical guess who in a GMMORE
The flaky layers were my favorite as a kid, but you never just bit into them! The fun way peeling them and eating them layer by layer haha
Biting into them like they did is absolutely criminal 😅
Links biting those biscuits like squidward bit his first krabby patty
TAKE A REAL BITE DANGIT
💀
Nothing better than having breakfast to a brand new GMM episode 👏🏻🧡✨️
yeah
I’m having dinner to it lol, butter chicken over rice with bok choy, ginger, onion, snap peas, and avocado
A lot of things are better
Absolutely 🥣🥣
Whenever I see the notification for GMM it’s when it’s 5am and I’ve been awake all night 😭
an all too familiar feeling 🥱💀
Don’t remind me😂
I know you guys might never see this, but I just gotta thank you and all of the team so much for being a part of my mornings for the last year. I'm a relatively new watcher but I look forward to these videos literally everyday so thank you all so much!
well, atleast me and the other 58 likes are here
Stevie getting tongue tied on all these buttery flaky buttermilk biscuits was hilarious.
What I’ve learned is Josh needs to make canned Mythical Biscuits for us to buy!
Does he even still cook for them? I think it’s just Trevor and Nicole.
@@codezilla2382What😳?!?!
Everybody knows the way you eat the flakey layers biscuit is one layer at a time.
I get way more anxiety during Gut Check episodes knowing that Link has his own discombobulated sense of scale than I should.
Link: "54 is my new 75"
Steve: ".......K." 😂
GOOOOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! happy monday!! I hope we all have a fabulous day!! 😊💗
This psychedelic intro might be my favorite.
Pillsbury may all taste the same when they're canned, but they have a frozen biscuit and those are legit one of my favorite biscuits to make!
Gotta have them to a gut check for canned cinnamon rolls next.
I could see Annie’s tasting like homemade. Annie’s doesn’t use a lot, if any processed ingredients in their foods, so if I were to buy a canned biscuit, probably not though, I’d buy Annie’s, otherwise, if I didn’t want to make them, I’d buy them trough a restaurant chain, ( Popeye’s, Bojangles, CFA ) 😎👍
Annie's are so good.
Link's ratings make perfect sense to me. Like he said, he's on his own scale and keeps within it, so it's not like it makes any difference for the overall score. 😅
That's true, but then he goes and blames the crew and the scale he was given. Lol
i don't know, "50 is the new 75" instead of just giving it a 75 based on a canned biscuits scale to keep it consistent with the scoring system.
1:53 This’ll never get old.
Link being unable to follow his own preschool scale is so link.
The Guess Who game is honestly one of the coolest quarterly items I've seen. It looks super fun!
Looking forward to see Smosh Games play! They have some great episodes with DIY themes.
Here’s the thing, Biscuits are not hard to make ! Homemade people, Homemade ! 😎👍
Yes but it’s not always plausible. I live alone. I get the frozen kind so I can make 1-2 and not have to make awhole can. I also for health reasons never wanted my moms recipe cause I know myself I’d make them all the time. I do love a good homemade biscuit and gravy. There are even some restaurants who make great biscuits
@@mellycook The point of the comment was to say homemade is better, not canned biscuits.
link needs a slider on his scales😂😂
The best one is the one that moms put the sewing kits in.
Everyone in the UK: THAT'S NOT A BISCUIT😅
I wonder if you eat MRE's that's why you would say "That's NOT a Biscuit!!"
I'm from Australia 🇦🇺
Was thinking the same thing. That's not a biscuit.
I suppose they call biscuits "cookies".
Are these what we call scones or something else?
🤔 I'm confused
@petaomalley6936 so do you say chocolate chip biscuit? Or like peanut butter biscuit? Lol we're both confused here 😄
I'm not from any English speaking country and have no idea what these even are 😂 When I think of biscuit, I think the UK version.
@@petaomalley6936yes these would be scones
Links inner machinations of his mind are an enigma
16:51 LMAO He dunno what to do with it 💀😭
Link making no sense with his scoring and blaming the design of the chart is such a Link's classic.
They missed the best biscuit of them all… Ear Biscuits!
Would love another fashion gut check, like the hat episode 😊?
Sunglasses or headbands 🤣
@@caitlinv7634how about necktie 👔?
@@beingamultifandomstanisnteasy bow ties!
You should try every “HAWAIIAN kettle style potato chips”!
R&L really took one for the team today - I'd NEVER want to do this type of repetitive taste test, but I REALLY want to know which is the best because I never know which to choose at the store! Thanks fam!
Can we please get another leave things in things game please?
GMM crew should make an episode where Rhett and Link try to cook eachothers favorite foods for one another and rate it.
i’m very impressed by the giant biscuit props in the back.
More “we tried every”s please. They’re my favorite.
Rhett and link making my day
Before the episode: Why are they doing an episode on biscuits?
After the episode: Why are they doing an episode on biscuits? 😂
Still a great watch as always boys!
Link being given a whole, custom scale and only using half of it is completely predictable Link behavior
i never thought i could be so entertained by two guys eating the same thing over and over again lmao
Same lol
Link is proudly on the Grandma Scale
Link scale in this is so confusing. Say he likes something than rating it in the 40s
as a southerner this is by far one of the most southern episodes ive seen on gmm
Taste the biscuit, taste the goodness of the biscuit 🎵
Just a few minutes in, link is really on his A game with frustrating bs today...😅
Good mythical morning everyone!!! ❤
This feels like an april fools episode almost 😅
Link always being reliant on the chart is gold 😂
Wait, did they do a cookie dough one yet? If not, this should totally happen!
I’ve been having a tough time lately, but I appreciate Gmm for always being consistent and putting a smile on my face. ❤️
🌈
I hope things get better for you ❤
Nothing like watching Rhett and Link rate canned biscuits after sorting the morning mail.
Rhetts scoreing aid always gets me 😂😂😂
I feel like a lot of people have that one quarterly item that made them join the Mythical Society. Mine were the bobble heads! I can’t wait to get Guess Who! That looks awesome! If I wasn’t a member already, that would for sure get me!
Link is looking so much like his dad now.
Y'all need raspberry jam on all of them.
I just had the old lady singing “taste the biscuit” playing in my mind this whole episode
For our British beastie friends, I have done some baking of both American biscuits and British recipes, and the best way I can describe it is that a biscuit is similar in ingredients and baking style to a scone, but it is made with more butter. 😊 It can be a bit croissant like, too, when it is made to have layers.
@@CPUGaming bet.
Cheese scones exist which means they can be savoury. They are just served with butter and a pairing jam/chutney. They just arent as popular as plain/fruit scones that are used in cream teas.
@@CPUGamingwhaaaaat? Up north the main type of scone we have are savory and you typically have them with butter
I'm Scottish and it's weird to imagine a tattie scone not being savoury
Never have I felt so British! What the heck is a CANNED biscuit!?
Looks like a scone 😂😂😂
Taste the biscuit. Taste the goodness of the biscuit.
This feels like an April fools joke video
