If you're normally a size 10.5, I would suggest going for the larger size, which is 44 (US 11). It's better to have a little extra room than to have shoes that are too tight.

I just smelt them. They aren’t that bad to be honest but I use them at home because I have hardwood floors. I have washed them a few times when I did wear them to the beach but yes they are waterproof.

The best thing to do is go to a foot clinic near you. I was given and prescribed orthotics at one point in my life and that helped me out a lot. Other than that for the years of strengthening my feet and stretching they got 95% better
