I replaced them about 2 months ago. Structurally held up amazing after all that time, but the rubber on the bottom was pretty much gone. I probably used these sandals more than any other piece of footwear

Hi, does anyone know if these chafe the skin where the straps are when walking for a few hours wearing them? I am interested in a pair, but I would only wear them with no socks. Thanks in advance.
Length wise I'm size 39... but I'm male and have very wide toebox. This model starts at 40 or 41 for male and everything below that is "narrow" or targetted toward women. I guess I can't wear this ever? Same issue with EVA barbados :((((
Man these are some awesome comfortable Birkenstocks. I have a pair and I had them for about two years I want to say. I love the color and the fact that I can go around water with them because I do a lot of kayaking. I love the fact that I can wear these to the water, and slide them off easily to put on the back of the kayak cuz I kayak barefooted 👣. I really love these Birkenstocks because I have big very very wide feet sz15 6 EEEEEE with very fat wide toe that's equally straight across making it for a very very wide foot and the reason for why I have to kayak barefooted 👣. I just wish the Birkenstock was make a little bit more wider because both of my little toes hang off the footbed of the sandal. I think if my toes were at a 45 degree angle instead of being equally straight across my little toes would fit perfectly inside the sandals or maybe I didn't have fat wide toes it would fit better. But overall for a sandal that fits a foot that is 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe I'm happy since there is no shoe , sock , or boot that will fit a foot that wide. It just sucks that I have to wear sandals barefooted 👣in 20 - 30 degree temperature outside. Thank you for sharing this video
I used to wear the eva Arizonas all the time. They have a failure point that seems to be happening earlier and earlier since the shoe first came out. It’s occurs where the front strap meets the inner top of the foot bed. It tears easily after only a month or two of moderate use. Customer service on this issue is horrible. They have no standard warrantee. None! They somehow had no record of my account. It disappeared after years of buying direct. They claim that the eva sandal is only for causal use, not regular walking. It’s all bull. Eva outsoles are used on running shoes and like running shoes, the outsole can take a pounding and still wear well. If the front strap breaks, it’s the end of the sandal. Goodby Birkenstock. You can’t stand by your product or admit an problem.

Is this the unisex narrow fit? I have a black narrow fit eva, but i am unsure if it’s for male or female.
I've heard that EVA shrinks in heat - have you noticed any shrinkage when out in the sun?

I wear size 9 for sneakers and I got these in a Size 9 as well. I suggest to stick to your size.

They're not replaceable but the price of a new pair is cheaper than replacing the insoles of a cork pair.
