I got these sandals on a whim because I liked the looks, design and price!
A year later and I feel like I’ve discovered the hidden secret of Birkenstock Sandals and why people love them so much.
I have put these sandals through the wringer! I’ve worn them camping, traveling, in fresh water, salt water, sand, mud, side walks, grass , mountains, deserts and they still look good enough to wear to a wedding!
After all that use these sandals show minimal signs of usage, this I did not expect.
Comfort after extended wear walking on various surfaces natural or man made with our with out socks is extremely high.

Have those sandals, they are top notch had mine for over three years been all over the world in them literally. Even on an AF deployment 11 out of 10.

Did one pair last you those 3 years or did you have to purchase another pair? I want comfort and durability. Luckily, sandals + socks are considered hip today.

Thank you, these are still going strong. I’m actually surprised how well they are still holding up. I just wore them for several days in Jamaica even tho they are my beaters back home and after cleaning them up they did the job just fine. They also have a decent amount of grip on wet surfaces . My wife almost slipped several times in her Gucci slides but these Birks are tanks!
Hi, do they chafe the skin on your feet where the straps are?
@@alwayspooh1588 they stick, but they don't rub, they just feel good. the straps don't chafe my feet, even though they do stick to the skin, but not in a bad way. I wear them a lot, and walk tons at the beach and marina and they still feel great

@@alwayspooh1588 I did learn to leave about 2 mm of space between the straps and my feet, at first i over tightened and it did not feel so good, then i saw how you need to leave about 2mm of space and that felt way better.

Oh yeah they are still going super strong, They are my general purpose slides now. They look beat but functionally 100 perfect!

Yeah, Hérmes Izmir sandal… I love them but they are so darn expensive.
Sandals and socks are not acceptable anywhere... it defeats the purpose of the sandal
