So glad to see they went back on some of the graphic aspects, they de-saturated the colors, added some more grain, now it feels much more like STALKER than the first trailers, I'm finally hyped for this.
I was enthusiastic before too, but i agree that it's much better now.

@@uuffzz dang, I forgot about that. The original Stalkers were classics but when you threw mods into them they became experiences that are difficult to find anywhere else.

While watching this trailer, memories of me playing Stalker 1 crawled back into my head after more than 10 years! The sound of rain! The noise of the anomalies and artefacts! The sound of the handheld device! The beautiful sound of VS Val! The guitar and folk songs around camp fire! The monsters! Goosebumps!!!!

You must be too young to have gotten to experience it for the first time yourself. So you need a RUclipsr to dictate how you feel about things, but it’s okay. You can still change. I hope so too. I'm guessing there will be lots of hud options. Most companies are not as dumb and lazy as Bethesda.
STALKER always had a big minimap so no not really.
I hope they have options to tone down the HUD wasn’t a fan of the top screen compass and the black box around ammo count. Hopefully it’s just a settings thing or mods fix it lol
I love the stalker world so much. The developers are real artists when crafting the world and making it feel alive. These lads are an inspiration as a developer. I can't wait to explore their world, and create my own mods to add a grain of sand into their craftmanship.
This looks so smooth and rough at the same time. Perfect balance. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

I couldn't actually understand what they were saying until I had the subtitles auto-translate to English. I love everything about this game, I haven't played or even heard of the stalker franchise until it was announced. but I definitely was hooked the moment I saw gameplay. September 5 is quite a long ways away. But damn will it be more than worth the wait. Just hope it will come to XBOX game pass.

These recoils are better then before, they were pin point precise, now it gets more realistic with the big bang, some auto weapons like SMG are normal to have smaller recoil but real Assault weapons should give big punch !

Well, I guess I am playing with closed captions. I wonder how long it will take me to learn Ukrainian, since I sure as hell am not playing this in English.
Why worry about understanding them? I've played STALKER about 9 times start to finish and I've never had a clue what the NPCs are saying and the game wasn't hurt in the slightest for it.
@@Mriya6 It may not be much to those of non-eastern European background, but to those that lived in the former Soviet republic, the games lore, setting and immersion was a godsend. The immersion into the soviet (I am saying soviet, not Ukrainian or Russian) culture is what kept bringing me back. I was born in CCCP and Russian is my second language, so I played it in Russian. I feel like playing it in English would ruin the immersion and disconnect me from the characters, keeping only the gameplay itself (which I've always felt wasn't really all that great). Seeing old buildings the way I remember them from my childhood, hearing the campfire jokes, the old cold-war era bunkers, tunnels etc, there was nothing really quite like it except Metro.

Well, if you already know Russian, you will need about a month or two months, I think?
Although Ukrainian differs from Russian in sound, grammar rules, and there are many other words that are not similar to Russian (or words that are obsolete and not used in Russian).
But still, I think the usual level of value is enough, and it is reached in a couple of months at most.
You can find and watch some Ukrainian RUclipsrs or listen to songs in Ukrainian, it can help a lot in understanding the language.
I'm excited about this game. This atmosphere and Ukrainian authenticity! WOW! Separately, I would like to add, what a beautiful Ukrainian dubbing, very pleasant voices!

I'm still a little concerned that we haven't seen crouching, taking cover, leaning out to take pop-shots, etc. These were always engaging and visceral parts of the STALKER combat experience, but in every trailer the PC just stands out in the open firing shots like it's DOOM. I think he crouches once, so maybe it's all still present. Buying it to support them either way.

Mine's not a beefy PC at all (dell inspiron pre built with 2060) but it can run ArmA 3 with PIP and Reforger no problem.
but I guess they took it out probably because they changed some stuff on the engine or that it was optimally better for consoles.
Its pretty shit to use it, and lowkey, doesnt give any advantages at all, 2d overlays would be much more optimal

Enemies seem to be dying pretty easily. I really hope they've kept the brutal difficulty of the originals. I don't want this to be Far Cry in Ukraine.
Developers said they dumbed down enemy ai for only the trailers. the game will have an improved version of the original ai system from the og games.

Yeah it would have been cool to have Tarkov gunplay. The reload animations look tacticool and not tactical.
The ai was very dumbed down just for the trailer so they could show off the game more, allegedly it should work pretty similarly to the older games

I've played a heavly modded Stalker and it was genius. Hopefully Stalker 2 will punnish you just as much as the first game.

The game runs on Unreal Engine 5. I think you underestimate the insane visual rendering this engine can offer in good hands.
I hope there is a gamemode which has no story and stuff and you just get to play, but with dialogue.
