Ya it’s nice they packed everything into a nice, small package.
Love seeing these come down in price; especially when you start factoring in the included cassette, it seems like we're really into not-insane territory. I know the average triathlete income is decently high, but those $1200-1500 pricepoints were painful a few years back. $800 all in is now actually feeling justifiable. 🔥
Considering it seems to be a pretty solid build too (the Direto was built really well), it’s something that should last you for quite a few years.

Is that side to side axle wiggle ok over time?
Hey Des! I just got my Suito before release! Does yours rattle? This is my first smart trainer so I don't have any reference. By rattle I mean little vibration like if you're were riding on semi-smooth surface. Not a big rattle. I expected the ride to be 100% smooth.
There may be a slight vibration, but it shouldn’t actually rattle. I’ve been on two different units, one at Ray’s studio in July and the unit I have in my studio and neither “rattle”, per se. I’d equate it to my Neo 2 which simulates some road feel as it’s not perfectly smooth, which I tend to prefer.
I also experience some vibrations. On higher gears they are more noticeable. Did you try to contact Elite or put it under warranty?
@@pszemso did you follow up with Elite? my Suito had a wobble from the flywheel. Replaced unit, same problem.
Lucky you. The UK spec does not come with a cassette. Was so disappointed when I opened it up and realise I will have to get one!!

I just got the elite suito and the chain on my road bike is too thick. What do I do?
You most likely do not have an 11-speed drivetrain and the Suito comes with an 11-speed cassette. You’ll likely have to get the same speed cassette as your bike and install that on the Suito.

Yup, Elite has a freehub body available on their webstore.
What do you choose suito or flux2?
Suito.
Can it also transmit power speed and cadence to zwift on Windows 10 ??
As long as your computer has Bluetooth or an ANT+ dongle

that is the cassette ratio provided? 11-28? do we have an option?
11/28 but there isn’t an option. However, with indoor training platforms, it’s generally best to have a closer gear ratio from gear to gear for optimum cadence.
@@DesFit ok thank you. reason i ask is because i dont know if i need to get another chain to fit. i'm running a 11-32 on my road bike. i guess that wouldn't work?
@@NewbArchitect Works no problem, assuming that it is also an 11-Speed Shimano.
Would it work with a mountain bike?
Yup, no worries there. If you’re running SRAM Eagle, you may need an XD driver body which is sold separately.

Elite direto x or suito?
Unless you need the higher resistance of the Direto, go Suito. Not many people need that extra 200 watts. Both have been fairly accurate from my testing.
