I make dessert pizza with them!
    2 pkg mini naan
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 cup mini chocolate chips
1 container honey pecan cream cheese
This makes several. Smear cream cheese on the naan.. top with cherry pie filling and or chocolate chips. Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes. Cut in half… serve with a little whipped cream or ice cream

U are a great example (& parents) to him, showing how u can care for other people in healthy ways. He's growing up to be a fine young man! Add you basil at the end when you pull it out and it’ll be fresh. We like to make a classic tuna salad, Philly cheese steak and also chicken parmigiana with our naan bread. I also put a piece of parchment paper between each naan and freeze it then anyone can easily remove one at a time to make a quick lunch.

My sister and I made na'an. She mixed and raised the dough, and rolled it out. And I tended to the 2 iron skillets.
Later, I watched Chef John on RUclips, and I can make pita, now, which is great.
Flatbread is great! And if you are on a tight budget, you can make it at home.
    Thanks for the recipes!
    Na'an,
It's not just for curry anymore.
I also make hummus, because it's so good, and less expensive.

I recall being told that you always have to "wake" the naan. This means heating it in some way to where it is at least warm. It is kind of the every man bread because it will get very crispy if you like that, or just stay soft and pillowy. My favorite way is to simply add a tiny bit of butter to a skillet to gently crisp the bread. From there, anything goes really. I have made sandwiches of all kinds, and somehow, some way, the naan bread just makes everything better. With hummus, the warmed naan is super good too.

We are lucky to have an ALDI by our house and they have delicious Naan and even a garlic version in both the regular size and also the mini size. The word you are trying to pronounce is not Margarita like the drink but it's Mar-gretta like the girl's name Gretta. (restaurant person here). We use Naan for a faux bruschetta with the garlic naan, fresh basil and tomatoes from our garden with cheese alot in the summer with a chive garnish. Yummy stuff 🙂

I put it in oven with a little olive oil and garlic on it, pull it out and place fresh mozerella. Put back in oven until cheese is bubble and good. Take out and then add your freshly sliced tomatoes and basil and then drizzle with balsamic glaze. Sooo good! The balsamic is the key thing that puts it over the top!😉

Bottled ranch dressing spread on lightly, cooked chicken chunks seasoned to anything you like while cooking them, then a little onion, sliced black olives, banana peppers diced, sometimes sweet red peppers diced, then mozzarella cheese. Cook in oven till naan browns slightly on edge and I sometimes broil to get the cheese bubbly & browned. So good. Love when your whole family gets involved in your videos. Blessings to all of you 😊

One of our favorite naan recipes is making Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. Sauté sliced onions, mushrooms, green peppers until soft; set aside. Cook slices of cheesesteak meat until slightly browned then add cooked veggies back to the pan. Remove pan from heat then place provolone (or whatever cheese you like on your sandwich) on the top of the meat mixture, cover the pan so that it melts. Brush a lite layer of oil on both sides of the naan and place on a preheated flat pan; heat until they become very lightly crispy, flip to the other side to crisp that. Fold the naan like a taco and fill with the meat/cheese mixture. Add mayo or any sauce if you like. Fantastic!

Yes, I also keep them in my freezer to have them on hand. And the brand you’re using is a good brand. I use that one too.

Best way is your butter garlic ( and parsley) suggestion. My second favorite is to use Naan bread to dip in custard as French Toast. We use cinnamon, brown sugar & honey butter as a topping or you can use maple syrup. Delicious!

Mandy. When your husband said the naan opens up. I thought shredded jack cheese inside with your garlicky buttery goodness and your husbands idea of marinara for dipping!
I thought that would be a good snack or light lunch idea!

Hi Mandy! 🙋‍♀️ Thank you for sharing these great recipes. I am definitely going to give it a go. Naan bread is also really good with indian gravy recipes like butter chicken. Probably would be good with stews as well. I usually stock up when I find it on sale as they freeze really well. Can also be warmed in the air fryer 😊❤

Mandy, just had to share! Since y'all are loving the muffuletta style sandwiches you made, try a muffuletta pizza. Oh they are delicious!! I buy the thin pizza crust by StoneFire that makes the Naan bread, they would work also. I preface at 400 for a couple of minutes, remove and brush with a little of the oil from the muffuletta mix. Top with provolone cheese and then I add sliced ham, salami and pepperoni. Top with the olive mix and then mozzarella cheese and bake til bubbly and cheese is melted. You will not be disappointed!

If you already know this just ignore me lol. There's something called "stainless steel soap" and it's fantastic. It's just a small looking soap shape made of stainless that you just rub on your hands and it removes all the smell of garlic & onions. I was skeptical at first but it's totally legit. Kuhn Rikon is the one I have and I paid less than ten bucks. Thanks for another great vid! ❤

15:05 I always wondered what one could do with naan bread once it started showing up in our stores. I love hummus, I can see how it would go well with the naan bread.
Sweet little Gracie! Can't forget to pay that cheese tax. And chicken as an added bonus. Lol

@@MandyintheMaking Next time I get hummus I will have to look in the store for the nanny bread. I always look for something different to eat with hummus.
Thank you for all the delicious recipes and fun with y'all!

I’m definitely going to try these. I’ve never bought Naan Bread. Each of the varieties sound appealing. No pesto for my husband. I enjoy the roasted pepper pesto sold at Aldi’s ! Thx. Susan

Naan Bread makes everything better. Opens like a pocket to fill. When you want something fast. Toast bread and wrap around some string cheese. It will quiet them down so you can think what to cook. ha ha . Thanks Mandy and back up crew.

We make the garlic toast but we do it in an iron skillet on the “eye”. 😉. It goes super fast.
Also, we use red pepper flakes instead of the black pepper.
    Sometimes we add cilantro.
We also make a sweet version the same way but with cinnamon and sugar.
It is one of my absolute favorite treats.

I like all the things you made, and I’ve made them too. You can do almost anything with it that you would do with the tortilla, but I generally buy them when I make Indian food or curry and use it as a dip or a scoop while I’m eating, also overseas they make non-bread with eggs. And they are better heated up.

I’ve never tried naan bread but I will pick it up on my next store trip! All those little pizzas look great. I especially love Caprese salad, so I’m looking forward to the margherita one, but I think I’ll do a drizzle of balsamic to Caprese it up. Thank you for more amazing ideas!
