Mandy honey, I loved this episode - especially since it can be for a single person! Thank u for considering smaller households when u do ur videos & smaller incomes too. I notice & I appreciate ur thoughtfulness! Cole is "coming of age" & starting to feel bolder in his cute presentation. U are a great example (& parents) to him, showing how u can care for other people in healthy ways. He's growing up to be a fine young man! Now u know I'll be praying that he finds himself a darling girl to follow in ur footsteps too! Give ur family (especially sweet Gracie) a big hug from Grandma Sandy! 🙋♀️🌻🦋🏠🐾🐾💕💕💕💕
Add you basil at the end when you pull it out and it’ll be fresh. We like to make a classic tuna salad, Philly cheese steak and also chicken parmigiana with our naan bread. I also put a piece of parchment paper between each naan and freeze it then anyone can easily remove one at a time to make a quick lunch.
My daughter has taught me how to make naan bread, very easy, quick and cheap compared to store bought. We use it for many good eats such as you showed as well. ❤
@@sandybowman7140look on a RUclips channel called Dimitra’s Dishes. She gives a great link recipe for how to make Naan bread there with a video tutorial. Her channel is great! I also learned to make an amazing gyro meat on her channel that I use naan bread for. It just depends how much time I have whether I make it myself or buy it premade. It’s really easy to make tho.
My son has a Greek/Mediterranean chicken recipe he likes, and you serve it with naan bread. We have to make ours from scratch because the store bought kind has dairy, which I can't have. But it is sooo delicious!
I’ve never tried Nan bread before because I didn’t know what to use it for. You have given me some great ideas so………Alexa… add Nan to my shopping list! 😂 Thank you Mandy! Oh, by the way… Cole reminds me so much of my own son. With the exception of my son being in his 20’s, their personalities are quite similar. 😊❤
My sister and I made na'an. She mixed and raised the dough, and rolled it out. And I tended to the 2 iron skillets. Later, I watched Chef John on RUclips, and I can make pita, now, which is great. Flatbread is great! And if you are on a tight budget, you can make it at home. Thanks for the recipes! Na'an, It's not just for curry anymore. I also make hummus, because it's so good, and less expensive.
I’m so happy to see Cole being apart of the video more he is just as much fun to watch as you and Your husband. Loved the variety of the Naan recipe .😊
I recall being told that you always have to "wake" the naan. This means heating it in some way to where it is at least warm. It is kind of the every man bread because it will get very crispy if you like that, or just stay soft and pillowy. My favorite way is to simply add a tiny bit of butter to a skillet to gently crisp the bread. From there, anything goes really. I have made sandwiches of all kinds, and somehow, some way, the naan bread just makes everything better. With hummus, the warmed naan is super good too.
We are lucky to have an ALDI by our house and they have delicious Naan and even a garlic version in both the regular size and also the mini size. The word you are trying to pronounce is not Margarita like the drink but it's Mar-gretta like the girl's name Gretta. (restaurant person here). We use Naan for a faux bruschetta with the garlic naan, fresh basil and tomatoes from our garden with cheese alot in the summer with a chive garnish. Yummy stuff 🙂
I think this bread makes everyone happy! We use them all the time pizza style or grilled with butter with every Indian meal I cook. We also use them as breakfast burritos style… the combination are endless! ❤
I'm not sure if Naan bread is like pita bread, but I love love making salad pitas! I'd probably do that with the Naan bread, just cut a slit in it and make a delicious salad. That dressing looks like it is delicious! I can't wait to try it! Have a blessed day! 💕
Hi Mandy!! I love naan bread for so so many different reasons! My littles love when I make homemade pizza “lunchables” and pack their lunches! My hubs and I LOVE to make spicy garlic naan when we make butter chicken and rice! Which I also suggest your family try butter chicken, rice (we love the yellow rice) & naan!! Stay blessed! Hubs and I love watching you and your family! Thanks for all of your recipes, tips/tricks, Gracie Lou and just your & your family’s presence! You are such a blessing! ❤🙏
I started using nan bread as a way to make homemade pizzas for my son, after standing in the grocery line and talking with another customer. I usually oil the bottom of my nan bread, and place the toppings on the other side and place it in the oven for 20 minutes on 350 degrees if i am using the bigger size bread.
I make the garlic Naan when we have curry, and I make BQ chicken pizzas with the larger Naan beads all the time. Even pepperoni pizza is grea with the Naan bread as a base. Very versitile.
These are some fantastic recipes using the Naan bread, I make it as a meat lovers pizza using Italian sausage, diced ham, and pepperoni. It is so good.
We make pizzas on naan all the time. I do my Margarette one a little different you might want to try. I put it in oven with a little olive oil and garlic on it, pull it out and place fresh mozerella. Put back in oven until cheese is bubble and good. Take out and then add your freshly sliced tomatoes and basil and then drizzle with balsamic glaze. Sooo good! The balsamic is the key thing that puts it over the top!😉
I've never used flat bread before. All these recipes look delicious and easy to make. Just added to my shopping list to try this weekend. Thank you!! 💜
These all sound delicious. So happy when they started having Naan bread in the store and especially the mini. Thank you Mandy and Gracie for a wonderful afternoon.
Great recipes! The thing I like best about your channel is the family participation! It’s so enjoyable to watch and really brings the cooking experience to a real world scenario. Kinda like my household, hubby checking over the shoulder and the kids sneaking a peek! 😉
I love how you two "tink" before you try a dish. How did you come up with that? That is an awesome gesture. Cole is really funny!! Love how he did the "I got my eyes on you" thing. He's funny, too!!! We know where he gets it from!!! Have a great week!!!! Love to Gracie!!!
We like naan too! I usually make chicken, ranch pizzas. Bottled ranch dressing spread on lightly, cooked chicken chunks seasoned to anything you like while cooking them, then a little onion, sliced black olives, banana peppers diced, sometimes sweet red peppers diced, then mozzarella cheese. Cook in oven till naan browns slightly on edge and I sometimes broil to get the cheese bubbly & browned. So good. Love when your whole family gets involved in your videos. Blessings to all of you 😊
Went to the food bank and received a container of onion naan rounds, first thing that came to mind to make bacon cheeseburgers. Normally use the street tacos but I have always wanted to try naan. This my chance. I will be trying the bbq chicken pizza as well. Thank you for the great ideas.
Oh yes the caramelized onion naan rounds from the same company are wonderful!!! I've eaten so many even just with just mayo and luncheon meat they make a great sandwich.
I love naan bread. I made some homemade recently, and it was really easy. Sometimes I just don’t want to leave the house, but I want something that I don’t have.😂 I was determined.
Of course we have a special relationship with Cole. He’s awesome. I’ve never used naan bread so thank you for showing us how to use them. Can’t wait to try.
I prepared the chicken hummus wrap for our lunch today with some Sun Chips on the side. For our dinner, I made the chicken pesto pizza with a spring mix salad for our side. I used the red wine vinaigrette for the salad dressing. My husband said the vinaigrette compliments the salad. This all tasted good, and I will definitely make this again. Thanks for sharing these recipes.
These recipes are great! Our family loves Naan, so we will definitely be trying them all out. You all lit up my day today, after a tough morning I am smiling and laughing! Thank you, Mandy, Steven, Cole and Gracie Lou! Sending you much love and laughter! Thank you for being a breath of fresh air! 👍😊💕🙏
I’ve never had naan bread but it looks so good I just bought that kinders honey hot bbq sauce a couple weeks ago and it it absolutely out favorite. I’m not a fan of honey at all but it’s so delicious.
Thanks for these great ideas! We are a GF household and make homemade naan about once a month with just two ingredients-Greek yogurt and gf flour. They freeze well, but these ideas will help us eat up the fresh ones!
I bought Naan breads and used them to make a soft and tasty “pita like” sandwich for my husband’s delish tuna salad. Then, made garlic buttered Naan when we had a wonderful Chef’s Salad lunch for friends. Thx for your suggestions.
I love naan bread a recently started making my own, I follow the recipe from chef John food wishes. It's incredibly easy and you don't bake anything you make them in a cast iron skillet 😀 I'm not a baker lol
I usually freeze/use them for gyros or mini pizzas, but I've loved eating them cold like homemade pizza lunchables. Just skip the oven entirely. Excited for all these new ideas.
I purchased Naan bread yesterday because of this video. I thought I still had some homemade pesto in the freezer I made from basil from last growing season. I didn’t …I had used it all. BUT I did have some homemade Sun-dried tomato Basil Pesto and used that to make the pizza with chicken and mozzarella….oh my goodness!! THAT was amazing! You must try that
One of our favorite naan recipes is making Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. Sauté sliced onions, mushrooms, green peppers until soft; set aside. Cook slices of cheesesteak meat until slightly browned then add cooked veggies back to the pan. Remove pan from heat then place provolone (or whatever cheese you like on your sandwich) on the top of the meat mixture, cover the pan so that it melts. Brush a lite layer of oil on both sides of the naan and place on a preheated flat pan; heat until they become very lightly crispy, flip to the other side to crisp that. Fold the naan like a taco and fill with the meat/cheese mixture. Add mayo or any sauce if you like. Fantastic!
We use Naan alllllll the time. I could keep them in business. We make garlic bread, use it as a side to Madras Lentils 😋 use it for mini pizzas when i dont have time to make our pizza dough , serve it with taboulleh or greek salad, and sometimes i use it in place of pitas for things like shawarma or to dip in Hummus...honestly endless ways to use this most delicious gift on humanity
I use the frozen pizza bread slices also. I like vegetarian pizza so I add tomato, onion and mushroom slices. Also add extra cheese and Italian seasoning.
CUTEST FAMILY EVERRRRRRR. I love me some naan. Yummo. I do a naan pizza with alfredo and chicken, mozz. I just pop the ingredients in a gallon ziploc and pop in the freezer so it is ready to go when I want it.
Luv Naan bread, been using it for open faced pizza, garlic bread and open faced sandwiches…yum…forgot to mention: Luv seeing Cole, he’s funny like Steven--you have your hands full, lol
I have never bought or used Naan bread. I really needed to watch this video just to see the variety that you can do with the bread. Thanks for posting this and really enjoy watching y'all!😊
Looks absolutely amazing! You give us so many really good ideas for meals, Thank you for that! I’m kinda new around here, I found you a few months ago, and when I first heard you speak, I told my daughter, I think they are from right here where we live, (we live in Lyman)and then you mentioned Wades in an episode and gosh I was right! So happy for all your success, and please keep sharing all the wonderful recipes!
Our kids went to your rival, District 5, and my youngest now lives in Boiling Springs, it’s a small world sometimes! Absolutely loving all your content, recipes and the shenanigans!
Best way is your butter garlic ( and parsley) suggestion. My second favorite is to use Naan bread to dip in custard as French Toast. We use cinnamon, brown sugar & honey butter as a topping or you can use maple syrup. Delicious!
Mandy. When your husband said the naan opens up. I thought shredded jack cheese inside with your garlicky buttery goodness and your husbands idea of marinara for dipping! I thought that would be a good snack or light lunch idea!
Hi Mandy! 🙋♀️ Thank you for sharing these great recipes. I am definitely going to give it a go. Naan bread is also really good with indian gravy recipes like butter chicken. Probably would be good with stews as well. I usually stock up when I find it on sale as they freeze really well. Can also be warmed in the air fryer 😊❤
This is so crazy, today I picked up some naan bread from the discount bin in our grocery store with no idea what to make. You are giving me hope!!! Thank you sooo much.
Mandy, just had to share! Since y'all are loving the muffuletta style sandwiches you made, try a muffuletta pizza. Oh they are delicious!! I buy the thin pizza crust by StoneFire that makes the Naan bread, they would work also. I preface at 400 for a couple of minutes, remove and brush with a little of the oil from the muffuletta mix. Top with provolone cheese and then I add sliced ham, salami and pepperoni. Top with the olive mix and then mozzarella cheese and bake til bubbly and cheese is melted. You will not be disappointed!
If you already know this just ignore me lol. There's something called "stainless steel soap" and it's fantastic. It's just a small looking soap shape made of stainless that you just rub on your hands and it removes all the smell of garlic & onions. I was skeptical at first but it's totally legit. Kuhn Rikon is the one I have and I paid less than ten bucks. Thanks for another great vid! ❤
15:05 I always wondered what one could do with naan bread once it started showing up in our stores. I love hummus, I can see how it would go well with the naan bread. Sweet little Gracie! Can't forget to pay that cheese tax. And chicken as an added bonus. Lol
@@MandyintheMaking Next time I get hummus I will have to look in the store for the nanny bread. I always look for something different to eat with hummus. Thank you for all the delicious recipes and fun with y'all!
I just bought that same package of naan bread earlier today. So pleased to find this video, because I didn't really have a plan on how to use them. They all look delicious!
I’m definitely going to try these. I’ve never bought Naan Bread. Each of the varieties sound appealing. No pesto for my husband. I enjoy the roasted pepper pesto sold at Aldi’s ! Thx. Susan
Naan Bread makes everything better. Opens like a pocket to fill. When you want something fast. Toast bread and wrap around some string cheese. It will quiet them down so you can think what to cook. ha ha . Thanks Mandy and back up crew.
We make the garlic toast but we do it in an iron skillet on the “eye”. 😉. It goes super fast. Also, we use red pepper flakes instead of the black pepper. Sometimes we add cilantro. We also make a sweet version the same way but with cinnamon and sugar. It is one of my absolute favorite treats.
I like all the things you made, and I’ve made them too. You can do almost anything with it that you would do with the tortilla, but I generally buy them when I make Indian food or curry and use it as a dip or a scoop while I’m eating, also overseas they make non-bread with eggs. And they are better heated up.
I do naan bread with garlic infused evoo. I brush it on both sides grill on my cast iron grill pan. Than I top with red onions, sliced tomatoes and feta cheese. And we eat as an appetizer
Thx so much. Love to see you 3 enjoining the Naan. I usually just use it with hummus. You have great ideas! Never made pizza. I’m going to try them all! You guys are the reason I keep coming back. ❣️👍
I’ve never tried naan bread but I will pick it up on my next store trip! All those little pizzas look great. I especially love Caprese salad, so I’m looking forward to the margherita one, but I think I’ll do a drizzle of balsamic to Caprese it up. Thank you for more amazing ideas!
I just love you and your family. Y’all are all so sweet. Your son is the cutest kid ever. You are all so honest and down to earth. It makes my day. I’m your new Grandma Brenda ❤

Mandy, the easiest way to get the garlic smell off your hands is to just rub them on a metal (like chrome) kitchen faucet. It works every time.
I usually freeze/use them for gyros or mini pizzas, but I've loved eating them cold like homemade pizza lunchables. Just skip the oven entirely. Excited for all these new ideas.
We usually just use it to sop up sauce, usually from butter chicken.
You must try that
that sounds delicious!
Thanks Mandy for the great video. Can you show us Steven’s new office when it’s finished? Love your videos and recipes!❤️
Fantastic!
Gracie Lou is so sweet. Cole and Steven are so funny. Love you and your family. Y'all are wonderful. Thank you for making my day great.❤️🙏🌷🍀
Thank you for showing naan bread recipes. I was just looking them up for recipes an came across your channel. My best channel ever.
Always nice to see Cole in the videos👏😊
Thanks for posting this and really enjoy watching y'all!😊
These are great in the air fryer! I make little pizzas, plus I love to use Naan bread with Alfredo sauce, chicken and mozzarella cheese, yummmm
Naan bread is good for Gyros. Yum Yum. Love you all
Yes, I also keep them in my freezer to have them on hand. And the brand you’re using is a good brand. I use that one too.
Looks interesting will definitely try these!
Hey neighbor! We are in the District 6 (Dorman) area! But I grew up in Boiling Springs :)
We don't ever see enough of Cole ❤
Cole is very sweet..girls better watch out😊 you both did a great job! OH recipes looked great too.
I love how you explain things. Nice, clear, and concise!! Keep up the good work 😊
This is so crazy, today I picked up some naan bread from the discount bin in our grocery store with no idea what to make.
Its really good with parmasean cheese added to the butter and garlic mixture. Yummy!
Lol
It does go well with it! :) Thank you so much for watching!!
I love your family! So funny! Thanks for the ideas. I bought a pack and needed more recipes than I had. Thanks for sharing!
I do naan bread with garlic infused evoo. I brush it on both sides grill on my cast iron grill pan. Than I top with red onions, sliced tomatoes and feta cheese. And we eat as an appetizer
I make regular pepperoni pizza on Naan bread in the air fryer. I also make bbq chicken pizza on them in the air fryer.
These recipes all look so good. I always look forward to your videos 😊 Sending love to you and your family.
Your family is awesome!! Love to see all of you enjoying thing together
