Both this and their Tallis piece are excellent. I'm very excited about a *northern* ancient music group. I look forward to hearing you in Manchester Cathedral in the near future (St. James and Emmanuel is also worth a look as a venue).

Great job guys! Looking forward to more performances soon! I like the casual dress in the very formal setting, esp for the lighter music.

Wonderful performance! It's a pity though that this recording doesn't catch a bit more of the acoustics of this magnificent church.

Your big plus is that you are a perfect sized vocal ensemble. Even JS Bach did not have more than two boys per part.
By being so professional as you are and having the perfect size, the music becomes crystal clear. As I always compare - the architecture of the music becomes visible. Your interpretation is no simple semi-detached but a huge and highly ornamented cathedral. It just awestrucks.
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to explore your interpretation, I personally can't wait to hear more from you guys.

no more than two boys? I had always wondered about that, modern choirs seem too large for Bach's original church setting.

@Marc Owen , do yourself a favour and read Andrew Parrott's splendid book "The Essential Bach Choir". Parrott is describing everything you need to know.

So viel steht eindeutig fest!
