In a straight line these two cars have identical numbers. On the track however, the 1LE is 25 seconds faster than the gt500. Only reason the gt500 had a 1/4 car lead, is because he jumped 😂

He said that if the Shelby was on fresh tires, it would’ve won no problem. Not saying him and throttle house are the end all in terms of lap times, but I do find them to be a very reliable source.
