I'm happy for Bosh. He kept his head down and played his heart out without care for the spotlight. The Heat won rings because of him. He was underrated, might always be underrated, but I have no doubts that he will be remembered as one of the all-time greats.

Bosh played in 14 of the 23 games that the Heat had in the playoffs that year and he averaged 31 minutes a game.
I wouldn't describe playing 61% of the games at 31 MPG as "Missing most of the playoffs".
It's a good chunk, but saying he missed "most" of it is a stretch.

For Paul Pierce, the reality for him is that he needs to realize that he held a 2-3 in Playoff series against LeBron, including the one that features Ray Allen in 2014, 13-17 overall, and even better Allen (and Rondo as well) has more title than Pierce.

So because Paul Pierce decided to not be careful with what came out of his mouth and talk smack to LeBron, the latter went ballistic and led the Heat to the next two wins and a trip to the NBA Finals.
That’s why they said we should be very careful with what comes out of our mouths because there’s the power of words: they can help, but they can also hurt.
