    The safe way to do something might take a few seconds (or, depending on the task, minutes, or even hours) longer than the quickest way... But it is infinitely quicker than the quickest way when something goes wrong.
    It's great to see training for safety. Unless it is drilled into people, most will opt for the quickest or easiest method regardless of safety. That you explain why the stronger swing method can be so much more dangerous will hopefully stay with the recruits, and save somebody's arm, or abdomen, in the future.
