I’m very much considering trying a 580, I tried a 590 for a little last year. I’m a 600 loyalist, can’t seem to get away from my eflex. Trying to transition to a ventus, but I have a feeling my 600 is gonna continue to be my bread and butter.

Just messaged Vaughn on their site about how to order one. Really love the Vapor90 for stick handling, but hate the lack of seal on the ice. Have you compared handling the puck with the XP 70 vs a 580?

Handling is more reliant on how broken in the glove is than how the break angle works for the majority of gloves. There are only a few gloves that are actually bad for puck handling (JRZ Fusion 55 deg is one of them).
I can shoot better with my 600 break glove than a few 590 or 580 simply because it is more broken in. So I wouldn't look at that as being something to make a choice off of.

Matt would you say the XP 70 freezes the puck better than the V10 Carbon? or the same? I have a Bauer Vapor 90 (580) which is a new angle for me, I came from Simmons Ultralight. Personally, I can't play the puck well and I can't freeze the puck at all with this Vapor 90 (580). I think I need to either go with a Vaughn V10 Pro Carbon (Close to a T5500) or give this XP 70 a try. I think the V10 is closer to what I am used to with the Simmons Ultralight.

I believe I answered this for you already, but just to put it here because it's public as well.
I didn't have issues with puck seal for both the Vaughn gloves. They were both fine and only when you really tried to tip them would there be an issue.
As for what glove to recommend, that's harder since it's personal preference so you have to figure out the break angle that works better for you.

Definitely like to try the closure myself. Are these custom or standard store bought?

Generally you'd have to order them custom. JH has this one to show off the glove so people can look at it.

Can't seemed to find these on either Vaughns or Just Hockey's site

Yeah, unfortunately Vaughn's online presence doesn't do the best job of showing off what they have to offer.
This glove isn't for sale since it is a demo model, Just Hockey has it so people can see the glove and see if they want to order a custom one.

The mod on the channel closed it after people were unhappy with his moderating. People have started a new one here: discord.gg/43WJS6Jf
