Ordered! The grip reinforced with the locking tab, a simple method to use my existing ND, CPL 67 & 77 (with step-up ring) and given all this depends on keeping the native glass clean and scratch free I like the cover that I can also leave off if need be.

Bought the 67mm kit, grip and shutter a few weeks ago and bought the helix today and then I realized they all work together! Now I can get rid of all 4 of my pm vnds v2s!!!!
Nice! And yah the Helix filters are going to be pretty big on the iPhone but they will work!
oh that looks interesting ... i'm currently working on a video testing and comparing the SmallRig and NEEWER Cage for the iPhone 15 Pro Max... and this might be a good alternative to test/campare as well!

I emailed once about a 67mm adapter for the 14 pro. Probably no chance on that happening but I am glad to see this happened this gen.
We take a lot of feedback from the 14 and put it into the 15 design, so appreciate you sending that feedback into us. We dont currently have the 14 67mm adaptor in tooling but, hear you on that and will at least bring it up
I appreciate it! Also noticed the relief cuts on the power/volume button and full bottom protection. Nice upgrades. If a 17mm or -series qr plate ever come out. This case would be competing against full cages in terms of adaptability.

Polarpro was the new generation that broke all the barriers that old companies did not attempt, also Polarpro made it affordable without degrading quality, instead raising the bar to higher standards, their filter cap systems keeps improving vs the old companies that just kept the same cap for decades just to mention a example, Im very please I have PolarPro on all my devices.

We don’t have one planned but there are a bunch of universal cages that will work with the Lightchaser 15 case
@@PolarProFilters thanks for replying! Universal cages are good for shooting, I love using the cage as a daily case, so I need it tight around the iPhone! Cheers! Anyway I’ll still be using Lightchaser for my old iPhones because I’m still using them as second camera!

No roadmap for those adaptors right now, main focus is on adding filters to the native iPhone glass

It will not vignette with any of the cameras
Any word on whether there will be a cage option? I like the defender to protect the lenses because I work in a lot of dusty environments, but I would prefer a cage for added protection on the edges. Also, any way to mount Moment lenses, like their new T-series ones?
Nothing planned as far as a cage, there are a bunch of universal cages available that might work for ya
Any updates on what the final product will look like? I preordered it but since I’m not seeing any updates on what it’s like and the length of release time compared to other companies is making me reconsider my purchase.

I like most of it but I do not like the bulkiness of the case. (which is a problem with all cases not just PolarPro's cases)
Because A: How Apple designed the iPhone and B: because lenses need to be attached somehow.
Maybe I should get over the fact that I need 2 cases (1 for normal use and 1 for shooting film).
I would love to see more colors though. A grey version like the silicone one from Apple. (it matches the natural titanium version so well)
The grip is nice but doubt I'll use it much for shooting film. Please do consider building a new cage.
I know there are many other option from other brands but I would love to stick with one brand for the full package.
And if you do please consider adding a sun hood. :)

While using the 67mm adapter, can all 3 lenses be used in photo/video mode? Coz at 1 min 57 secs into the video, the top 2 lenses seems to be partially blocked.

Are you referring to the attachment mechanism or something else you like about the UV filter on LCP15?
@@PolarProFilters the UV filter that’s the same shape as the defender plate. Would be nice to have some other filters like that. But I understand I could just use 67mm instead.

Ahh gotcha, yah we could only do it with non-rotating filters like ND and Mist, but traditionally those have been slower sellers on the phone platforms. Appreciate your feedback, it is heard

Nice. Will the USB-C port cutout on the bottom of the cage be large enough for all cables? I saw that some cables won't fit Apple's own cage cutout.
Ours will be slightly larger than apples cases, but it’s tough to say it will fit all cables without having dimensions for all cables
Great work guys! I really liked the look of the LiteChaser Pro for iPhone 14 Pro/Max... as I saw Yorkie on the MrJWW Uncut channel use that whole rig for filming content. Is this a route you're going down or is what you've shown in the video the complete setup on offer for the 15 Pro/Max? I saw in one reply already you don't have a cage in the pipeline... but wanted to ask anyway! Thanks.
So right now we don't have a cage in the pipeline, but we are always listening. The optional grip with this case has a cold shoe mount on top and a tripod mount on the bottom which will let you run a mic / light on top and a tripod on the bottom

As for Bluetooth Shutter, there are differences in the video and photo. In the photo of the Bluetooth Shutter the thread is 1/4 metal, but in the video it is plastic. Is it so? Is this an updated version of Bluetooth Shutter? I mean 1/4 hole.
The 1/4 insert is aluminum on the BT shutter
Does the addition of the hand grip get in the way if I want to add an external hard drive for recording?
Depends on how you rig the ssd. You can put it on top of the cold shoe mount on the grip

Are your matte boxes able to remove the lens flare dot which pops up every time you film towars a small light source
Depends on the angle that light source causing the flare is at relative to the matte box and it’s flag
How protective is the front lip to falls ? And drop resistance any good? New iPhone 15 pro max is easier to scuff and break this year😢

Hi Polar pro, I have changed my iPhone 12 pro max for 15 pro max, I will be able to use the filters that I used in the 12 pro more in the 15 pro max with an adapter
THe IP12 filters are too small to work with the IP15
Can you still use MagSafe accessories (IE MagSafe tripod mount) when the filters are attached? Or do they block the MagSafe area?
Tough to give a "yes everything will work" because it will depend on how big your filters are and how big your Magsafe accessory is. The LCP15 Filters we make dont block that area, but if you had a large threaded filter on there it might.
The UV filter in this video appears to have black edging, but when looking online the UV filter has some pictures where I see bronze edging and others where it’s black (like the video). Is it all black like in this video or are there extra colors?
Final is Black interior frame with a gold exterior band (Same as the website images)

Oh yah that would have been solid, but that magnet array is circular and much larger than the defender plate. It would also interfere with the grip. Love the product suggestion

Yah, you just need the 67mm adaptor and then a step up ring from 67 to your 82mm filter

That's very sad to see you haven't planned to produce a cage nor a Moment lens adaptors for the 15 Pro Max.
I was looking at cages for this phone, to start videography because of the new Apple Log feature, which makes the iPhone 15 Pro a perfect compact camera, and when I looked at the full cage rig for the 14, with all the threads, handle and horsehoes, I was happy to find something that would work with Moment lenses and your filters.
This is not the case so not I have to find another quick release cage, handles, adaptors and filters which I could have bought entierely at PolarPro...
There are a bunch of universal cages that will work with this case. We wanted to build a super clean system to fully protect the lenses with the defender and also get all our filters in front of the native iPhone 15 lenses
@@PolarProFilters For sure. Universal cages are huge af, for me that’s not even a good option, especially if you want to mount that in a Gimbal.

I just wish you would have produce the cage alongside it too. It’s more compact, got 1/4 threads, possibility to includes other brands lenses…

Putting a 67mm filter and adaptor would overload the gimbal so I wouldn't recommend running thread on filters with the Pocket 3

Not sure, you could probably use our 67mm filters if they have some sort of thread adaptor

You could do a 67mm adaptor then use our 67mm PMVND Mist Filter
Can Litechaser 13 and 14 filters be adapted to mount on 67mm threads? I have 5 Litechaser 13/14 filters and 3 Litechaser 12 filters. I’d love to keep these filters in use going forward especially with lenses like the new T series anamorphic. With the 48mp sensor I’m less worried about vignetting due to the crop ability.
The LCP13/14 filters will attach to the LCP 15 case with the adaptor we made for that. This is not the same as the 67mm threaded filter adaptor. But you will be able to use them with the correct adaptor!
I guess what I’m really looking for is using the 13/14 filters with the T Series Anamorphic. If there was an an adapter to make those filters step up to work with 67mm they’d have life with the T series and beyond.
So those LCP13/14 filters are about 61.7mm in diameter so they wouldnt fit onto a 67mm plate
Dern, 61 and 67 kinda close? So I guess a step down ring couldn’t be a thing. I know the iPhone lenses are becoming less of a necessity, but would like to see 13/14 filter adapters for T series anamorphic, and a moment plate for the new litechaser.

The iPhone 12 filters are too small so will not work. But any of your threaded filters for your regular cameras should work :)
@polarprofilters What size filters does the 13/14 Filter adapter take? I see the other filter adapter is for 67mm, but I'm looking to get my system as small and compact as possible. I like the size of the 13/14 Filters. They look like 52mm but I can't seem to find that detail anywhere.
The 13/14 adaptor is only for our LightChaser 13/14 filters, its not a standard thread size, it will only work on up-converting the older Lightchaser filters (closer to 63.5mm)
@@PolarProFilters aw bummer. Maybe if this gets enough likes? Could we get a 52 mm adapter for standard thread size filters? If we want to use filters we already have we have to use 67mm filters which are oversized for this kit, or invest in your proprietary filters that can only be used with your specific phone adapter. A standard 52mm filter would be great.
a 52mm filter is going to severely vignette, 62ish mm is the minimum size before you get significant vignetting on the LCP15 system
It seems that when you put on the 67mm adapter, it blocks the camera's view.
It works with all the cameras, without vignetting

Serious question cause I tried two cases so far that couldn’t. Can I fit a usb- c flash drive with the case on? Cases I’ve tried so far the case bottom part didn’t leave enough clearance to fit the drive all the way in.
Let me get back to you with specific dimensions on that opening, our goal is to make it more open than Apple has it on their cases.

No universal metal frame in the pipeline, just the Case and Filter system that should work with most universal cage systems

@@PolarProFilters I have the entire LiteChaser Pro Case & Cage, Handles, Bluetooth Shutter, Grip & Most Filters for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. So this new case will work with these? A lot of money to effectively throw away, or require adapters etc to keep using after 9-10 months of use. I hope this isn't the case.
All of your LCP13/14 filters will work with the 15 (you just need the adaptor plate). The BT shutter and the LCP14 Grip will work as well. This one also has a 67mm Adaptor to open up really any other filter we make.
@@PolarProFilters & the 15 Case in the LCP 14 Cage? Great re the other items just needing the adapter plate, especially when I have all the associated 67mm, 77mm & 82mm step up rings for the Recon Matte Box and other PM filters.
We dont currently have a cage in the pipeline for the IP15. We have seen a few requests for it and will keep listening and monitoring feedback. I think you might have been asking if the LCP15 case will fit inside our LCP14 cage, and it will not, the case is a lot larger and more protective than the sleeve for the LCP14 cage

Currently we rigged this case out to pretty much accept any filter, or anything that threads onto a 67mm plate

Great all these mobile filmmaking brands developing their own system and screwing the customers instead of helping people create, its now about locking consumers. its bad enough that every year phones get upgraded and we have to buy the new accessories to keep up. you guys use to Collab with moment and were compatible with other brands which helped because theses items add up especially for mobile filmmaking.
Case + 67mm filter mount is all you need and you can pretty much use any filter you have in your kit
