@@jchawreh1569 I got two copies of the book, one from Amazon and the other from Barnes & Noble. The one from Barnes & Noble has color in it and the pictures are of higher quality.
They are not done in the WTSDA, Jae C. Shin, The originator created the Sae Kye Hyungs with Kicks instead of punches. He stuck with the Okinawan/ Japanese lineage of Tang Soo Do and used the Pyung Ahn and Nahanchi forms from Funikoshi and Hwang Kee.
That is because Hwang Kee took from Shotokan the Heien forms, which are the Pinan forms in Kyokushinkai. In turn, if you search them out, most Japanese and Okinawan systems also use Naihanchi. Tang Soo Do in particular had significant Japanese influences in its formation.

Awesome. Good luck!
Does anyone know if ordering the One-step and Hyung DVDs would have a higher quality than the youtube videos?
Good form and power but he is to turn his head first before each move to see what he is blocking or hitting first.

"American Tang Soo Do Hyungs: A Guide to Black Belt." It's one of my favorite martial arts books. I use it to teach me the Forms/Katas.
Where can I get that book?
