Short answer is no, because not a single artisan pad feels like hard plastic. The long answer is.. it's complicated. It's a speedy, textured hard pad. If you enjoy Artisans speedier pads it might rival them. But since it's plastic which feels different than any cloth pad, even cordura, it's going to have to be something you experience if you've never used plastic before. It doesn't feel like any glass pad either. Plastic is just a completely different category of pads like glass is.
Ey melon! Sorry for not coming in for the stream because I was at school and I was going to play a soccer game for my school. We did win though so it was good!
This pad sounds a lot like plastic pads of old, that gives me doubts about its long term durability. But since I was a simp for both the steel series 9H and the glorious helios I wanna try it. I actually prefer plastic to glass. I know this is resin but based on the review it feels like it has those properties.
It's definitely an interesting pad, definitely the most unique pad I've used this year! I'm pretty close to wrapping up my testing, will hopefully have the full review up by next week!
@@mel0nFPSso I received my pad after what felt like an eternity and it really is a larger version of the steel series 9hd, texture and speed are very very similar. I'll have to use it more to get a real feel for it but those are my first impressions. Considering the 9hd was my favorite surface from when it released I am a happy camper so far. The cleaning guide and the fact that it's resin does worry me tho.
@@RitzyBusiness Has the NPET SPEEDM mousepad maintained its durability? And how is the cleaning issue with this mousepad? I'm thinking of buying this mousepad but I'm not completely convinced yet. I'm a person who sweats a lot and according to some reviews this mousepad is very resistant to sweat. I would appreciate your response.
