i have the first ELO album on vinyl. wore the hell out of it learning all of Roy's instrumental arrangements. saw the Move and later Roy Woods Wizard and his production on Annie haslam's Solo Lp/tour, in Gordie Howe Towne, Both at the Red Wings/pistons old Barn; "The Olympia"'aw so many great shows there back in the High'$ Cool days. All great Artists 'n' bands . Cheers for the Crimso LP's. also saw em 6 times thru each incarnation.
Wow, You saw The Move, Roy Woods Wizard. That is awesome!! I agree the first ELO album is one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing your story. Have a good week!!
Great pairings, Edward. The strength of an artist’s sophomore album has been critiqued by many in gauging their potential and longevity beyond a strong debut. Plenty of great 1-2 punch albums. Cheers!
Hi Edward!!! that's a cool idea for a video series.... and great choices too!!! you're right about the first two Metallica albums, i can add to the list Black Sabbath, Van Halen, The Doors just to name a couple. cheers and be well
Great video Edward. I'd pick the first two Paul McCartney solo albums "McCartney" and "Ram" & I'd be happy with those. Interesting topic for a thread. Have a great week. 👍
the first 'Who' album I neard was 'Tommy'' I was shocked since all the songs on both records were extremely bad without a single good melody. ''How? I thoght, and this is a cult band?! Это же просто ужасно и невозможно слушать...
