I usually notice the Black and orange spine too knowing it is an Impulse release. You got some classic classic records there Ed. The Kinks "Misfits" is an excellent album. Listen to the whole album. There is some very catchy and Ray Davies cleverly written tracks on it. A few humorous tracks as well. I always loved when Ray added some humor into his songs. Always good to see you Ed. Nice haul! I love my CDs too. I don't have much on cassette these days though. Just a few. We chatted briefly on a live feed a while back and you asked about this. Most of it comes from two other soundtrack albums. Absurd by Carlo Mariah Cordio and Bloodstained Shadow by Stelvio Cipriani. Hi Edward!!! Cool cd finds, but i'm afraid to inform you, there's "no" bass in that Metallica record, till now none of the guys in the band (Ulrich/Hetfield) admit they screwed the mix of the album. To me "Powerage" is one of the most underrated albums from the Bon Scott years. cheers and be well

Some great finds! I'm a huge Kinks fan, mostly the 60s and early 70s records, but I also love the records they made on Arista - so many great songs.

Art on kookoo by HR Giger did ELP Brain Salad Surgery, Dead Kennedys Frankenchrist, Danzig III and designed creatures for the Alien movie series and Species movie series.

Iron maidens drummerowns a restaurant not too far from me in South floridacall rock and roll ribs. Food is good. He's a very nice guy to find him hanging out in there quite a bit if he's not on tour. Now I'm gonna have to look at Walmart because I've been wanting to find some sort of colored vinyl or special Edition of my favorite maiden album Piece of Mind. Hopefully they're running something on that 1 too

Edward, a while ago, Cindy found us a tape player at a Salvation Army store. I started buying some albums on cassette , mostly music that I never had in my collection. Joni Mitchell's ''late period'' albums are somewhat neglected, I enjoy ''Wild Things Run Fast'', from 1982 and '' Turbulent Indigo'', from 1994. I also enjoyed Michael's video, reviewing Zappa's ''Apostrophe'' and the live shows that he attended. The backing musicians on that album are all amazing, Ruth Underwood and George Duke are important ingredients in Uncle Frank's tasty treat!
