Before seeing the end or more than half a second of the beginning, I think Sherman (if we are talking pound-for-pound power within a closed 1 vs 1 simulation or immediate "Cold War" encounter sort of thing.) That could be my own personal bias, but I think that perhaps the way the Sherman was built would have been able to take advantage of quality parts more. The T-34 I think relied more heavily on spread out fighting effectiveness numbers and combined arms. Inverse of the Germans who often concentrated too much value and power into single tank types that were not always able to reliably show gains on the battlefield for their overall cost of production and resources, but that still often worked very effectively on that scale when things worked as expected. Thing is in war, one cannot always count on the best-laid plans or "good" intentions. So yeah. The Shermanator Terminator probably manages to balance out quality per quantity more efficiently in its context of existence.
That is actually not true. The sherman was made to be very repairable and sport kind of a long distance engagement since they didnt wanna afford to lose tanks often because everytime one died, they had to send it overseas. The sherman was classified by the germans as one of the lowest threats while classifying the T-34 as a very big one which i personally think kind of decides the point. The T-34 is a much more diverse tank which in my own opinion is better in almost every single way, simply bc the Russians has wayyy more warfare experience and knew what the tank needed. The T-34 therefore would have roundkicked an american tank in a 1v1 in any terrain.
To be fair, it all depends of your playstyle, both have great advantages for me, nuke shell of t-34 and stab for sherman and also a depression unless t-34.
@@frosty848 you'd be surprised how good that stabilizer actually is, allows you to shoot on the move and often get the first shot off in an engagement when you run across someone, as with the shermans you can do a lot of stuff with it, it just depends on you adjusting your playstyle for it, i personally followed the advice of another youtuber and went with the tip of the spear approach or even flanking
@@keeganfox1864 Only good against weak targets. The sherman only tickles tigers and panthers. Doesnt matter if you get the shot first if the shot doesnt do shit

Kinda curious which tank wins out in an IRL battle. Since things like reliability, quality of components, or getting stuck in mud arent things to worry about in war thunder
IMO Reliability = T-34 wins however Sherman is easier to repair and the american troops had more access to repair parts. Quality of components = Depends on the model but i would say the Americans have an edge. Stuck in mud = T-34 wins. Overall i would say the T-34 wins in a 1v1.

Before seeing the end or more than half a second of the beginning, I think Sherman (if we are talking pound-for-pound power within a closed 1 vs 1 simulation or immediate "Cold War" encounter sort of thing.)
That could be my own personal bias, but I think that perhaps the way the Sherman was built would have been able to take advantage of quality parts more.
@@AnonyMous-ql9nj that's...wow, so objective and unbias, I'm surely
The sheer power of Stalinium
Stalinium is getting real here…
That end? Scene from Legend with name T-34 bridge scene american version
hi steel nice do the tiger 1 vs strv
This is power of stalinium xD
Soviet Stalinium never fail
Im really regret starting of with americans. You should really go for soviets or Germany for The start
6:03 long live... The king
To be fair, it all depends of your playstyle, both have great advantages for me, nuke shell of t-34 and stab for sherman and also a depression unless t-34.
And sherman STABILIZER
@@tugalord which is over rated. t34 is still better overall
@@frosty848 in war thunder is mostly who ever have a shot first is the winner & I can tell you didn't really have experience with the gyroscope
@@keeganfox1864 Only good against weak targets. The sherman only tickles tigers and panthers. Doesnt matter if you get the shot first if the shot doesnt do shit
T34-85: am better than you in every aspect of the game
Server: Gun depression joined the game
T34-85: nah bro am out of here
Still my pick is M4 cause of the stabilizer
In towing, t34 would win because Diesel engine with higher HP and wider tracks with better traction.
Bro, you're thinking of torque. Both the T-34/85 and M4a3E8 had 500hp but the T-34 had almost 50% more torque!
How exactly is this test fair?
It should come down to which can kill the other faster
5:07 Component of T-34 is Stalinium
По всем параметрам наш лучше!)
America
we have the best sherman
Soviet
Hold my vodka T-34
u want to compare Soviet M4 with a foreign one, comrade?
the sherman is slower in reverse cause it never had to
No bias here...
We can all agree, that the Sherman, is better at running into combat full speed and being able to distract the enemy team while the rest of the team flanks the enemy
When I mean distract, I mean getting killed as soon as you peek a corner with a Panther or Tiger
I have met lots of T-34-85 players, and all of them have skill issues.
Just as german players around 5.7, however at this BR germany has better tanks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@johnpassmith4002 most German players play dumb bc they are lied by myths of "invencible tanks" n' stuff
@@zeta1960 Yep, just as russian take a bad habbit with early t 35 that are good armoured
Kinda curious which tank wins out in an IRL battle. Since things like reliability, quality of components, or getting stuck in mud arent things to worry about in war thunder
IMO
Reliability = T-34 wins however Sherman is easier to repair and the american troops had more access to repair parts.
Quality of components = Depends on the model but i would say the Americans have an edge.
Stuck in mud = T-34 wins.
Overall i would say the T-34 wins in a 1v1.
@@AnonyMous-ql9nj How tf T-34 wins in reliability imo???
@@AnonyMous-ql9nj reliability is 100x better on the Sherman bruh
i was literally shouting FIGHT BACK SHERMAN!!! there at the end... please remind me why its going at 6.3?
