- A simple hack that can change your entire feel of freightliner cascadia. We just changed our truck interior bulbs to bright led's to make the atmosphere inside the truck bright and happy instead boring yellow.

Great tip. Makes it alot brighter on the inside so a person can see at night. That’s for sure the truck stops and chrome shops are really expensive...🎩

Just wanted to add if the lights are not connecting properly (flickering/disconnecting) bend the metal tab inside hole of the socket towards you a bit. Be gentle and bend it enough so that there is a bit of push back when inserting the led bulb.

hi, i bought the same bulbs for cascadia 2015 , bulbs smell and smoke after installation due to heat, is there any suggestion of other brands of bulbs for dome and map lights above steering wheel, thanks

Shon Bembry Thank you for watching. If you are talking about the cab light and reading lights, no I dont. Those lights have reverse polarity so thats why these LED did not work.

Great video mate. Does anyone know I a 6'-0" tall person can stand full heigh inside of a day-cab cascadia? It's got the lowest roof option. If anyone knows for sure, please let me know. Thanks a lot.

When selected,did you choose the white light option or blue light option on amazon?
+Akeem Johnson when I ordered it, there was no option for colors. I believe both should work but mine was white.

Interesting. Question, not to detract from the original intent but I noticed your rear speakers in the bunk. Did you make them or are they factory installed?
Speakers are factory installed, the truck is with owner operated trim.
been trying to find the damn replacement size, in the manual it doesnt say 1156, it says something else that I cant find... anyways thanks!

I have a 2014 and my lights slowly turn on and off. Will these things still work? Yours are instant on... mine are not haha
+Seth It should work on your truck, my friend had a 2014 and it turned on slowly too, it worked on his truck so it should work on your truck too. Let me know after you install the lights.

I got the same lights in my 18 but once installed in dome light they cut off when I put cover back on. Any suggestions?
Take the light off and pull the contact which touches the light towards you a little bit.
@@romieandsharry4831 ok. I think it's the connection with the housing or something because the bulbs are kinda loose. Have to wiggle them.

Thank goodness for the u tubes...swear these Sellers hope you mess up..then go buy another replacement...only downside is when the entire tractor electrical system gets fried due to an amateur reversing the polarity!
