Thai is tonal language, so we just try to add tonal to every word we are speaking, so it come out like this. If they know English, you can speak in "normal accent", and they are understood. But for the one who didn't know English, if you pronounce it like in this video, it would be much easier to understand. Just stress every syllable in the word lol
You won’t say it say they say it, you’ll say it as you hear it, which I find can sometimes be an exaggerated caricature version can definitely sound racist
You're a delight to watch, Ms. Trilingual -- Thai, English, and Filipino. God bless your creative initiative to bridge cultures and peoples. I admire your energy and positive spirit.
Me ordering food Thai : whyyyyy, do you want whyyyyy Me : because I am hungry Thai : whyyyy It took me 2 weeks before understanding that they mean rice 😂
@@bohem7298 people here the states generalize and often say bathroom or men’s/women’s restroom. But in any Asian country I learned that just the word toilet will get you pointed in the right direction.
And English speaker don’t have a clue about tonal language. Motorcy is a loan word in Thai so of course it doesn’t need to be exactly the same as English word.
@@vassanab4243 I am not sure we can qualify it as a loan word, when they read motorcycle then say motocyyyy, when they read foreign they say farang, etc.... More a lack of good English teacher, new generation have a perfect pronunciation.
This is so logical yet I’m worried it’ll sound like I’m making fun of an accent whenever I try to mimic it 😂

If it is an english word, it is usually low at first with a falling tone on the last syllable, especially 2 syllable words, like Delta. Computer.
