Tom, you were my hero in the 90s because you were so funny and wild and now you’re my hero because you are living the dream with traveling with Charlie and moving to the country. I love you Tom! Post more of this and more of whatever you are doing in your life! I’ve recently found all these videos and instantly subscribed.
My God, the good old days! I was nine years old, and I can still remember sneaking into the living room when my mother was asleep, just to see this show!🤭😇 Great memories thanks Tom!😉👍

Dear Tom, This show is unironically important for pop historians to look back on for raw data about the end of the 20th Century. Your work showed a lot of life and perspective that we can still learn from. Plus, many laughs to be had! Also build a mini ramp on your land already, my boy... a mini is the second most necessary thing to have on land (after a dog). Thanks Tom and be well! Stiffly, your Uncle Rocco
There was Steve Allen and the unforgettable Ernie Kovacs of a past generation. Tom you are the pioneer of ground breaking humor in this generation. Awesome content 👍
If you would ask me it's simple Tom, there're two kinds of people in this world ; the funny and the not so funny. It's quite obvious you belong to the first kind. The Tom Green Shows are really legendary. Your acting talent, sense of humor and the guts you had to carry out your ideas at the time held us viewers glued to the tube. I'll never forget how much I was looking forward to another episode of your show. Now I have grown older, but I still enjoy watching you (and Charley) on RUclips. Thanks for taking us back in time ! Regards from the Netherlands !!
The nostalgia is flowing right now. I remember years ago my friend and I bumped into you, I can't remember if it was in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal or Vancouver. You were walking down the street with a boom box and camera guy shooting your track 'check the OR' and you let us be in the video and we were walking threw the Bay store with a boom box just BLASTING and we were just acting insane.. I'll never forget that. I guess it never released because the Bay is private property I dunno. Either way 🤘 you rock Tom.
This was such a unique and wildly interesting show back in the day. I remember randomly stumbling across TTGS on the Comedy Network one night and I couldn't look away. Instantly this became one of my all time favorite shows. Tom gets a lot of cred for the work he did with MTV, but nothing compares to the low budget madness of the Canadian series.
Awww goofy baby Tom! Never seen early clips before and watching it caught the biggest wave of nostalgia, not for the 90s but for time when everything seems possible (time when I was young and hungry for life). Shared it with my 19-year-old nephew in hopes that he would love it.
Yes, yes, YESSSS!!! This is when I discovered Tom, when at a house party late one night we flipped through channels of a bigscreen TV, and on the local community station was something we couldn't explain/understand, but was hilarious. It was the Meatface skit. At first we thought some group of learning disabled people were making a show.... lol!
I can't believe this guy went from making a TV show in the studios of Algonquin College and airing it on Ottawa's public access channel, to absolute fame and stardom. Dude was a genius, even if his comedy isn't for everyone.
This is the real deal. The creativity of just finding an object, turning it into a story, and letting that story play out for an audience to see. The kids these days could never.
Man, I grew up watching these late nights on Comedy Network. I had a blanket stuffed under my door so my parents didn't know I was up late watching this. It was a dream of mine to be in the audience, but RUclips and the shows will have to do.
I loved this show because it was unconventional and different and unadapted, while at the same time keeping a safe distance without hurting people or shocking them too much so they would get afraid. It was rebellious but peaceful. I still love see these sketches.
It was so hard to see this show as it happened. I lived in Quebec and didn’t have Rogers. It was such an awesome event when I would get the episodes on VHS from Ottawa family. The local bands at the end were also a favourite part. Thanks Tom
My God, the good old days!!! With 11 years in 1998 watching you in MTV, no one in my family understood why I laughed so much, today at 34 years old it causes me the same effect. The world wouldn't be the same without Tom Green. With Love From Argentina.
Watched this first time it aired long time ago..its like hearing a classic album for the first time in decades! Used to tape these with a VCR and watch them over and over and over.
Man! This takes me back to when I was 18/19 years old. We used to watch you all the time as well as imitate some of your antics! Just turned 41. Thanks for the nostalgia, Tom!
After reading the description, I would love to see all the episodes posted on here! This quality television and something I wish we still had on TV these day despite how things are now.
I can only imagine the gems that the 90's Tom would've produced during this last couple of years. I had all your vhs tapes in the 90's. Thanks for the laughs.
I watched a lot of your stuff. The busted bike and bloody shirt was one that always stuck in my mind all these years, "Is that my bike?"....greatest line ever. And trying to get Joan to blow up your balloon was another that I remember.
What a nostalgic mind job. People have looked at me funny for reciting the theme song for years. I was 13 when this aired new in Canada. This blew my mind once and just did again.
+1 for the pre-mtv stuff you have getting uploaded, so much stuff thats hard to find in decent quality! if there was a playlist of them all on here i’d have it on all day
Rogers Cable Tom!!! I used to sneak out of bed and record your shows on VHS tapes. I still have one of them and i wrote your name in balloon letters on it because i liked your show a lot.
Good Old Rogers 22. I worked at the Zellers at Heron Gate Mall from 96-99, always hoped Tom would stop in and mess with the intercoms..alas I wasn't so lucky.
always good to see creators uploading their original works that are no longer in print or being streamed. I was wondering if you still had any episodes of your show when it was on Rogers public access, and if you do, would you be able to upload them?
@@tomgreen How many Rogers episodes were there? I love the Christmas special, although I am not sure Dan would agree. Still, I have to say these The Comedy Network seasons are massive. I've watched them too many times.
Please show the clip where you're squirting milk directly from the cow's udder into your mouth, omg it's the most wonderful source of nightmares. It's Pavlovian for me....when somebody mentions Tom Green, I instantly start chanting in my head "it's milking time, it's milking time, it's time to milk the cows"
Please post all your old shows, I split my guts laughing when they originally aired. Me and my friends got together for Tom Green watching parties, and when we couldn't get together we recorded the shows and passed the tapes around. Thank you.
I was 18. This was what I needed then. Now at 41, the current Tom Green is what I need. I love it.

Totally agree. From Argentina.

OMG how quickly Tom descended into madness and absurdity when she agreed to play footsie, I'm in tears.

Thanks Tom Green. This is exactly what i needed right now. This is what we all need more of in the universe!
I almost lost my mind when I saw you on Eric Andre.
Wish there could've been more of you two. Two generations of surrealist comedy.
Oh my that was some genius right there. Never seen these till now. Grateful that you put this out Tom. Thank you.

Ahh the good 'ol days. Loved this show!
I can imagine Eric André seeing this as a young person and saying, “I want to do this when I grow up”.
My little brother and I used to watch your show when we could. Loved it! Our Mum hated it.

Thank you for preserving the aspect ratio.
when mtv was cool; you made it back in the days:, much love from Argentina; Thanks to bring me back dome memories 🤜🏽🤛🏽
I've seen every episode of this. Tom's one of the most innovative comedians in history. Still funnier than all the imitators, too.
Extremely funny, extremely nice. Me thinks only Canada could bring this about. Much love & respect.
I love it thank you for sharing again 🥰💗💋
I have your Box set from the 90's Tom. My Girlfriend bought it for me for Christmas in the early 2000's.
I used to love watching this show as a kid... My parents, not so much. Especially with the "tonsil hockey" bit with Glenn lol

Tom.. In the buying Condoms skit your voice is soooo deep! You sound like Canadian Barry White. 😍😂
I thought the same thing.
The school strike bit was shot outside my old High School (Regi) in Kingston. That strike was good times!
