Garden is great. I suggest you paint the cubby house black/dark like the green house frame. We did ours black... I was sceptical when it was suggested but it looks very good against the greenery of the garden :)
Dining table closest to kitchen, less steps when entertaining! The garden is beautiful, love the herringbone brick placement for patio! Please consider railing along pond and the herb garden for symmetry for safety and to finish off sides of play. Lovely!

Prune olive tree back and feed it with Vitax olive tree feed. I did this last year with one I thought I had lost. It was soon covered in lots of new branches and leaves ❤🌿

This is silly but I am very worried about Ralph's playhouse so close to the pond. Children are so curious about water and I hear about so many children drowning in the summer. Never take your eye off of him when outside playing or better yet, figure out how to cover it when he is in the backyard. Love how your home and garden is taking shape. Sorry to be a downer.
@Ericthegreat1483 children can drown in the shallowest ponds/pools though...and if you have to be constantly supervising it kind of defeats the purpose of them playing by themselves for a while 😅 better to move the house and/or cover the pond
A wee girl who lived near me, tragically drowned in a pond that had been drained but had a very small amount of rainwater in it.. Get rid of it completely...

It looks awesome and you must be so pleased with it. I am a big fan of the wood over the table for when you have extra guests. We have that and store the wood in our cellar. So sorry to hear about your leaks but these are quite likely to happen on a flat roof so I hope you get them sorted so they don't continue to affect your lovely interior. Building work, it seems, is almost always like there are problems but they will get resolved. Keep going. It will be over. Your carpenter looks like a diamond. That work is like art.
Gorgeous house and garden - be careful with raspberry bushes they take over, we had one in a similar place to where you are considering planting one and it’s a constant battle of it sprouting up through the raised beds near it and killing off the veg, I think we are going to have to dig it all up 😢
Re Olive Tree, sounds crazy but cut it all back! All the dead branches etc. I did the same to my tree which was looking super gross, and within three months it’s come back to life! Also a bit of cinnamon in the soil if you’re having trouble with ants.

Charcoal grey or black for Ralph’s house. You need to get some leak detectors to put around to alert u to anymore water issues( we have them in our furnace room where water heaters are, great for when your out of town) enjoyed vlog!!❤🇨🇦

I know they aren’t aesthetic, but get Ralph a water table for summer play. It’s soooo good for them! Just deal with the ugly for the few years he’ll play with it. It’s excellent for cognitive development, fine motor skills and just fun.
Watch out for mosquitos with the pool of water near the house, if you can get a pump to create movement in the water that will reduce chances of them festering in the garden in the hotter months. Sneaky little things

Flat roofs are a pain. We have had such a nightmare with our kitchen extension because of the flat roof. It took a few years and ,y husband taking matters into his own hands to seal it. Every time it rains I panic a bit lol
Tbh the kitchn design seems so much like sterile more than minimalist & clean which maybe was your approach! It doesn’t give a homely, lived in kinda feel (maybe lack of colour) if it makes sense! Maybe too much plywood! Love your lifestyle videos regardless

You could make a pile (maybe a hanging console table with a drawer or something) area where the wooden panel is now!

Garden is great but water which is not fenced off is a huge drowning risk for children who can’t swim. Pond are often the source of drownings.
