Something I did with my Mustang (much lower, I know), was to measure from the ground to the bulb, and then make a mark at (or note of) that spot on a wall that I'd pulled up to about 15-20' away on level ground. I adjusted until the hard change of light to dark was no more than 1" above that line on the wall.
Never got flashed at or really needed my high beams (except in the country) again!
