I love the decision of Greg entering back into stage whenever something happens to him. I feel like it ads to his childish imagination and not knowing if he’s telling the truth or being a creative kid.
The Highwayman nailed it perfectly - it's like he stepped right out of the cartoon. The Queen of the Clouds CRUSHED her number. But when Greg sang the second half of Come Wayward Souls? CHILLS. Perfect way to show him succumbing to the Beast's power. As a former theatre kid I say brilliant production!

The way the beast was covering Greg with leaves while singing It sounded like a parent singing their child a lulaby to put the child to sleep, forever. It was so disturbing.
The lady singing as the queen of the cloud city did AMAZING Also the ones that did Beatrice and Jason Funderburker sounded exactly like the originals 😂
this is incredible! The Highwayman absolutely understood the assignment little disappointed that you had to skip over the ferry scene but i have no idea how you would logistically adapt the band scene to the stage lol
They had to skip Lorna and Auntie Whispers too! I think it all had to do with the frog tbh. They wanted him to be a stuffed animal so they couldn't have him sing or eat the bell.
I’ve read several comments, and I can’t believe nobody has mentioned the dynamic camera work in this production. It made the whole performance feel artistic and like the original. If it had just been a static camera in front of the whole stage it would not have been the same. Well done to the cinematographer.
The best part is, the show itself is basically an hour and forty minutes long, so turning the whole thing into a stage show is doable. This is almost the length of the show.
This production is so heartwarming and is a genuinely moving adaptation of one of my all time favorite animations. Fantastic work to everyone involved in this. You've made something really special.

Watching this as a play makes me think the original story was meant to be told this way. I always wondered why I felt a strange familiarity for the way the characters were overly expressive and had a penchant for song, now it makes sense.
My brother and I have been a fan of this series since it first aired on Cartoon Network all those years ago. To see the love and dedication to the series and how much it has grown is so cool to me. I watched this and I remembered how magical it was for the first time to see this. Thank you and I hope more people find this!
You all did an excellent job especially with the limitations at hand. Ever since OTGW came out I was thinking about how to transpose it into a stage play. It seems like it should make sense but it's such a hard task when you think about all the transitions and effects that are needed. Thank you all for putting it together it seriously means so much and I hope more people follow you in continuing to tell this amazing tale!

The vocal performances were so fun, haunting and wonderful. Getting to see such a wonderful show get an adaptation with so much attention to detail in terms of mannerisms and outfits makes me so happy. I gotta say, this is some top teir work that I would absolutely love to have been able to see in person!!!

I never thought of what a stage play would be like for this show, but you translated it beautifully! The Beast's performance was simply chilling. Absolutely adored every minute of this! I understand why Chapter Seven had to be cut, and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the transition was! Amazing performance all around.
This was a golden find. I can't belive I haven't seen it yet. It's so good, I was smiling through it the whole time and got several times goosebumps. I'll be watching it fully on weekend but it's so great I can't wait, probably Will do that after the anual OTGW re-watch.

Gonna be honest, I stumbled upon this expecting it to really struggle translating the feeling if animation to live action(a very difficult task) but I was BLOWN AWAY by the character acting and music! Great Job!
