Dude, this is awesome. I lost half of my non dominant ring finger to ring avulsion, and I felt like the earth has been swallowing me whole for the past 4 months. There are days I'm totally fine, and then it sneaks up on me how my hand looks and my brain short circuits, literally, I get panic attacks telling me 'your hand does NOT look right and everyone can tell' and can not snap out of it for a while. It's been getting better but discovering your video and your story, and looking at your hand and just how... normal it looks despite the obvious injury and missing finger, and bits, wow. It helped lift a big (self inflicted) stigma I had about it. You're just a normal guy, and I imagine that's how most people see me too. Funnily enough, I don't think anyone even notices and I often wear these garish 3D printed finger prosthetics which are totally deus ex machina. Thanks, truly. I'm still sad about it and I hate the gap I have between my fingers, but my injury left me otherwise healthy and functional, with maybe a bit less stability on my left hand. It's the social stigma and shame I struggle with the most, I might take Doctor Manuj's advice and look into a proper silicone finger prosthetic :)

what an amazing doctor ♥️ and the way he explained such complex things even a 5 year old can understand. Luke, what a brave man ♥️, u kept exploring, u kept spreading smile, despite urself being in constant pain, hope you a speedy recovery so that u can continue to inspire us🔥
This would def be like a life long friendship you'd have with this wonderful doctor. Super cool stuff and yes, you should do the final surgery he is talking about.
Indian doctors are sometimes years ahead of the Western world, their knowledge is incredibly fascinating and impressive
it may not have seemed like it at first but you’re so lucky luke. im so happy you’re ok that explosion could have taken more than just your hand. im glad you’re still with us.
*lucky luke* great name suggestion _😃😃_
Still remember watching that video 3 years back, can't even believe it's been 3 years since that incident!
That was quite an ordeal you went through and that still did not deter you from coming back to India to continue doing what you do best! I have so much respect for you and I am so inspired by your optimism and gratefulness. Your hand looks amazing ,your doctor did a great job. Much love to you my friend 🥰
He burst a firecracker in his hand, which can happen anywhere
Really by looking at those raw photos, back in the days... I never thought they were going to be this much functional... I really like to appreciate the doctor for the job... Any Luke, you're a brave brave man... Not a guy but a man... You are still smiling and living... I would have given up if I were you
Glad you recovered and doctor is super guy. Kerala is wonderful also 🇮🇳🫶

I’ve been watching you since some time but first time I’ve found out about your injury 😮, wishing u a speedy recovery.
i mean this in the most respectfull way,
You know fingers dont grow back right?
@@lebronjames5 Crabs do it, he should be able to too.

India produce most doctors and engineers in the word. You go any country .you will definitely meet Indian doctor and engineers. So happy to known you come and meet dr. Manoj . Good luck to you future and make intresting video.

most americas doctor would probably just cut your hand off and not even try to fix it. So glad that good and nice doctors still exists
Luke, I think you can consider opening online positivity courses. The way you carry yourself in a difficult situation and cope with imperfections is phenomenal.
What a remarkable man Manoj Sir is ❣️❣️
Really proud to be born in a land which produces gems like Manoj Sir ❣️❣️
You’re the man Luke 🤙🏻
Thank you 😊
If only indian docotors are that gracious to their own people
You can tell me anything about India but their doctors are of the the best.
You are soooo brave, Luke! Loosing a finger is not an easy thing but I can see so much positivity in you regardless. Thanks for being an inspiration! 😍
He really is so brave! Man with strong heart!

I'm an Indian but still the fact that u didn't hate India bcuz of losing a finger is not like anything I've seen ❤️
haha that is such Indian thing to do. I am an Indian and moved to US few years back and broke my foot on a skate board. All my Indian friends were saying now you hate skate board and american friends were cheering for finally getting first fracture from skate board.
@@dvo66 i used to ride hills on my and only ever fell 2 times (harshly) luckily i was bruised and aching for days😂 Accidents happen everywhere and theyre definitely a journey
That was an accident and it may happen anywhere!
@@dvo66 if a Indian says you hate skateboard then i donno what to say to them cuz it's like one of those " what " moments to me.
@@dvo66 bruv most indians don't even know what skateboard is 🗿💀
You know your India well. How the streets work, bargaining games and so on. On top of that, Bro you are one good vlogger. It's so entertaining to watch you.
As a medical student I can tell you this doctor is very good , you can get a long time visa and get your surgery done from here he did cost 10 or 20 Times listen in India then Australia , Indian doctors are very good as international standards you can do it from here.
Dr Manoj is an angel, what a humble down to earth man!
