Let’s address your queries one by one ; commenting here so that all people who watch the video can view our comments as well.
Let’s go one by one
Answering all the questions u had about the product one by one
1) how to store the product safely during patch test
If you need to patch test first, open the sachet and take little product and store the sachet in an airtight container. Exposure to air and moisture can contaminate the product and reduce its efficacy.
We have not added any stabilisers or preservatives to the product that enable product to stay effective even with air exposure
So it’s advised to store product in an airtight container after taking necessary qty ( preferably 1 g or 2 g that’s required for patch test )
Next question -- why does it says on the product to discard after 3. Hours of mixing ; pls note we never mentioned to discard a unmixed pdt ;
After you mix NILINI with water and make a paste, Use it within 3 hours to get best results. NILINI contains no added stabilizers or agents. It’s a mix of potent Ayurvedic herbs which when exposed to open air for a longer time period, loses its efficacy. So, Please use as suggested. Please understand that it’s not just Henna. Nilini is a mix of some amazing ingredients and Henna is just one among them. Exposure to air and moisture can contaminate the product and reduce its efficacy.
Third question - if it’s completely natural - why do I need to use in 3 hrs of mixing ; y can’t I use little and store the rest for future use

Patch test of 48 hours is mandatory for anyone who plan to use NILINI irrespective of whether henna or indigo suits you or not ; NILINI is not just made of Henna or Indigo ; it contains an array of several other ingredients too.
Also most importantly- we cannot predetermine whether a particular product will suit everyone. 100% Natural products can also be allergic to some people. Only way to understand whether a product will suit you or not is by performing the patch test ; we don’t recommend a quick patch test even if you are an advanced user. Not just for hair color ; any product you plan to use -- please do a patch test and wait for 48 hours before proceeding.

Next question -- Nilini stained my hand like a dye ; it stained my towel . Does it contain dye or chemicals
One of the ingredient of NILINI is heated Coconut Shell powder.
Its absolutely NORMAL to see back stain if you apply NILINI using bare hands- the stain will be there..it will only go after a day when you wash using shampoo the next day of NILINI applciation.
Generalizing this using an example from our nature itself: - any raw turmeric / kasturi manjal yellow -please mix and apply on ur hands- stain remains. It will only go after a day or several washes. Yellow stain is not because it has some chemical in it. It’s natural property of turmeric to cause stains
Similarly, NILINI is a blend of several ayurvedic ingredients that can delivers natural black color to grey hair. All ingredients when mixed in water and made a paste, it constitutes black color. If you use using bare hands and complain of black color stain, we can’t do anything but, only make you understand that’s it’s pretty normal for it to happen like that. coconut shell powder or charcoal which leaves a black stain on your hand if u apply using hand when u apply initially ; on the day of first wash after using NILINI ; we advice customers to not use shampoos ; that day too, few might see slightly stain towel when hair is towel dried ; It’s very natural for coconut shell powder to leave that slight stain ; It goes off next day when u wash using shampoo.

And your most important question --How it gives black color
Nilini is working on a staining principle ; if you observe in nature there are a lot of natural staining and color binding that happens ; Nilini is based upon that. Henna has a strong binding property and it stains with an orange tint ; coconut shell powder and indigo leverages hennas binding properties and stains natural black color to hair

Why did it stain your tile color ; pls mix some turmeric and pour it on ur tile ; wipe it after a min or so ; you see an yellow stain - is it becz it has some chemicals ?? Nilini is a strong concoction of natural herbs ; while mixing and applying ; you accidentally dropped the applicator brush ; it’s quite natural property of it to stain the surface ; natural ingredients can stain white floor ; it’s very common ; it will go off when a mopping is done or just wipe it off with some lemon juice it will go off ;

I tried to use the nilini shesha ayurveda hair colour. I really liked the result atleast I was happy I was not using chemicals on my hair. I think everyone can try it once.

I have lost hair after using Nilini for 5 months. I was using it for my roots and was so happy because the whole waiting and time for my henna and indigo was saved. But now I actually have a bald patch near my temple. Beware guys it’s not natural for sure
NO ammonia,bleach,peroxides or nay such harmful chemicals are added to NILINI in its entire manufacturing process. I have marble floor n I used to apply amla powder to my hair.. Their drops left a deep stain on my floor which is still visible.. So you really can't say just by floor stains.... But yes we must use new products with open eyes

Hello mam I think the stain is bcoz of coconut powder which is turned into ash after burning. Although it is coconut but after burning I think it is harmful for hair, so our heena indigo is best

@@JaspreetSingh-wx5zl good covrage. But will fade away soon. As per price point it's expensive but it says it's natural so you can use it of you want any chemical free colour. It's smells and feels like indigo powder n bit of mehndi but it don't give orange colour. It turns hair natural brown ( i used brown one) and after some washes it will turn orange like henna mehndi.

as its a natural product depending on herbs seasonal changes it could work differently. Be sure to follow all prerequisites before hair color application and make sure the product is mixed with hot water and not cold water and also make sure the greys are covered fully using applicator. If have stubborn greys, leave the product for one and half to two hours and then only wash off ; try this way
I had severe allergy...do a patch test before applying... I contacted the company thy said herbal doesn't suit everyone hence patch test is necessary

Thanks a lot for the enlightenment. Because I was planning to buy it for the root touch up. I have thick hair and I kept working on the math of how many gms i may need for a single apply... And so on. Now after seeing ur video i am going to stick to my local mehndi and indigo powder. I am following ur one step henna colouring, but as my hair is highly porous it stays for a week time only. I have sinus issues, frequent application can be problamatic during winters. Hi dear, I really appreciate ur work. But I m really surprised by commitment of say any brand in the name of 100% natural hair colour. How comes it's possible that an ayurvedic formulation is as powerful as a chemical dye, I don't know why, but I don't feel like trusting any such brands. For me tou our own authentic heena and indigo is best. Though it's quite cold in uttrakhand these days but I m still managing with heena and indigo. Yes a lot, I and my husband both r using heena and indigo. I have greys only on both sides of my forehead, but my husband have greys all over, in summers we apply heena and then heena again after 3 days, and then indigo after three days. And my husband shampoo his hairs everyday still his first greys peeks a bit after 15 days. I apply oils and mask frequently and my greys peeks between 12 to 15 days but they go well for 25 to 30 days without reapplication. In december we apply heena thrice in a internal of 5 days followed by indigo 3days after last application of heena. Then we reapply in February, because January is very cold here.

May be fried coconut shell left the stain on floor. But I am also worried if this has chemicals. But they have given certificate on Instagram
I have serious doubts on this product after seeing your entire video. We never do patch test for henna indigo hibiscus etc and if they are stressing on that it does sound fishy. Although in delhi winters just one treatment for 1hr seems like a good bearable option to cover greys (thats the only good point)

I thought so too but i have done a lot of research about these natural ingredients. In general also, when we use any herb or any ingredient at an untouched, non processed level, it may give us allergic reaction. Not because there is something wrong in it but because our body is not adaptive or in acceptance of it. That's y, indigo powder also causes headache, itching to many people.
On the other note, this colour did not give me any reaction what's so ever.

There are lot of people who are allergic to henna , indigo and other natural products

There is however the little portion in the video wherein the need to provide a small 1 gm sachet for the patch test was recommended whoch I foùnd very practical , as that too is a question that arises in the mind about having to waste one whole packet for the patch test as it has to be used immediately. About having allergies from natural product i am sure there is a lot to it that what i maybe aware of .

I have been using Henna and Indigo powder for years now to cover my greys. While Nilini is a big relief in Delhi's winters as you have to keep it only for an hour, I do not think I will use the product again. It has turned my hair jet black. I have never had black hair. They have been brown. My hair are shiny and soft, but jet black colour is too stark for me. Plus is not cheap. If the effect if that of godrej pouch hair dye, why break the bank?
