Labrynth is looking pretty solid with Arias and the new trap support coming and we are still missing 1 Labrynth monster, I can't wait until they reveal it.
15:21 How can you possibly bounce Ariana back to hand? The chain has to resolve once you discard big welcome with chang. You can't activate it again on the chain
Thoughts on running a small resonator package? 1 red rising dragon, 1 scarlight archfiend dragon, 1 soul resonator, 2 crimson gaia, 2-3 vision resonator and 1, fiendish golem. The engine feels really good if you open up a furniture piece with vision resonator or Gaia, its free discard fodder which can then add soul resonator that searches clock to then activate the trap you set of the discarded piece. It essentially gives a ton of consistency to making your first turn plays. The 2 synchro slots in the extra can help break boards and bait cards, if you can get scarlight out with gaia on field you gain so much advantage. Not to mention you can search fiendish golem, a normal trap that is also spot removal to trigger lovely, or silver lady. It helps in the grind game a lot. Also its dirt cheap, since a lot of the extra deck is now pricey. Lmk what you think :) also good vid!
I love running a copy of the dark charmer link to allow ez access to S:P with her full effect. I also added 1 more d barrier and a copy of trap trick. Great deck profile btw!
very nice list, I swapped to extrav as well. It feels nice in one way and the other just hurts cause you need 2-3 ofs in the extra. Always love you labrynth vids
I’m returning to the game after about a decade and decided to build labrynth as my first new deck, been doing a lot of research and learning a lot but I was curious if it’s considered better to go first or second when playing this deck, anyone have any advice?
Bro that is the worst infernoble player I've seen. How they hell did they get stopped by you imperming Isolde on the first effect and you should have used your lab effects to force angelica to miss timing rather than throwing them out for no reason on the isolde. In the end it didn't matter because rather than going for a send 1 line with Riccardetto they decided that flame swordsman pass was better. Mein gott
Personally, I'm not a fan of Extrav because I want to utilize the Extra Deck more (yes i play Arianne). In my build, i mained Instant Fusion (instead of CBTG that was sided) using TER + MER + Anima with the idea that going first it's both an answer to Ash and a free body for Muck/SP plays while going second a single card can bait up to 3 interruptions (especially on non-removal negation effects). Then I also did the unthinkable and bumped up Lovely to 2. In my meta Rescue and Purrely don't have that much representation, unlike Tear and mainly Bystial D-Link which are overrepresented, making even other decks run Bystials as the handtraps of choice. And surprisingly with the inclusion of Arias at 3, I didn't care about opening Lovely, on the opposite it helped me utilize Arias getting revived and sitting there doing nothing turning into a no-response for my Welcomes. Although I would definitely still run only 1 if Rescue gets representation like in YCS Indy. Terrors didn't work out for me and Daruma was undoubtedly the MVP. Also i found out i need another blowout card for game 1 on top of D-Barrier and DDG did the trick. I don't play Knighmare Phoenix because TCBOO can't be outed since you would make Phoenix (fiend) using a Fiend + Handtrap. Little Knight covers this very well, by easily converting a bad Crow or a summoned Clock into Anima (or Arianna + Bystial). Seeing PeP there made me smile, the 1 opponent you'll drop him on will never forget about it.
3 arias with only 10 normal traps to activate with arias feels bad. i play 15 normal traps+3imperm with 2 arias now, he feels much better if you play a lot of normal traps.
I mean you can still play it but Lab is stronger without the unchained engine. it takes up too much of your extra deck so you can't play extrav that well.
Online I have it in my deck and have never summoned it. Feel it is win more card. For ycs yes have it. But locals the price point to have one or two isn’t necessary.
You can at the very least summon Arianna and get a search to fix your hand on their turn, then if you also have a furniture you can get Clock that way and enable a Big Welcome play for a pop. Also dropping Lovely from hand is super underrated, preventing Ash Blossom/Belle who are typically sided against Lab.
What are you thinking about evenly matched in the main deck? The Rescue Ace meta is starting and it's the biggest blowout vs them. Also can we get a combo guide at one point?
@@Pineapple_YGOcap you just don’t set a welcome if you have evenly in hand and evenly could win you the game? Only thing that feels bad about evenly in furniture is when you set a welcome and draw it for 6th card
no need for them, I play only one chaos angel and it does come up very rarely, often you can win with without them. Until your not planing to top a ycs you don’t even need chaos angel for this deck imo.
If it helps, here's some stats for ya. Assuming your extra deck is full and you banish 6 cards for extrav, you have a 40% chance of losing any one-of, 14% of losing both 2-ofs, or 4% of losing all 3 of a 3-of. I don't think you NEED S:P in lab but having 2 chaos angel and 1-2 ty-phon would probably be worth if you plan on playing labrynth competitively. I personally don't think the slight risk increase of losing all copies from 4 to 14% is worth the $80ish (for angel) tho Edit: My source is using a hypergeometric distribution probability calculator online
@yy5173 chaos angel can come very clutch. Often the limiting factor is how many traps you have on field or in your hand. Often the choice is do you need that welcome labrynth? If you do, then it's not worth the angel play and you're better off using torbie's effect instead. When it does come into play, it is game winning. You usually just have to ensure you have follow up after the fact, but chaos angel can break boards

What? A other labrynth Monster? 😍

Discards is for cost
@@Pineapple_YGO even so doesn't the chain still have to resolve?
Nope. Big welcome is a quick effect on the grave so since it hits the graveyard before chain begins resolving you can add it onto the chain
@@Pineapple_YGO daaaamn. Ok clearly I have some things to learn thanks! That's a big help to dodge arianna getting negated

What if i only have two arias i got to on pre sale for 15 each now they are 30 each and i cant spend more money on lab i gotta my mannadium deck done
tcgplayer has arias for 13-15 rn

3 Little Knights, RIP wallet
the whole extra deck is rip wallet

Welcome lab dose not trigger lovely and arianna game 1 ????
What are your thoughts on running 1 red dog 1 trap + some unchained extra deck?
Kinda disappointed the unchained engine didn't catch on more for Lab. It felt good to play with imo. Minus drawing prison of course.
Play what you want bro
I mean you can still play it but Lab is stronger without the unchained engine. it takes up too much of your extra deck so you can't play extrav that well.
It’s trash, hate drawing bricks so not worth it
its just too many bricks and the deck wants to resolve extrav bc of all the discards
Me: *immediately sees 3 Little Knight in the Extra*
Also me: “No thanks, I’d rather be able to eat than spend $300 on 3 copies of the same card.”
Don't forget the 3 Chaos Angel and 3 Sky Crisis. It's just a casual $600 dollar extra deck at lowest rarity.
and all that, to ban all this cards most of the time :D
Your video quality has gone up man! Especially during your replays I can actually hear you😅. Keep up the good work representing us Furn Lab players!
How worth would it be to have labrynth without Chaos Angel? I'm just into going to locals and stuff
Chaos Angel let's you push damage and OTK going second but it's not essential for a locals scene.
Online I have it in my deck and have never summoned it. Feel it is win more card. For ycs yes have it. But locals the price point to have one or two isn’t necessary.
Would you make an explain lab like I'm 5 video? xD
Do you really think 3 arias is the call rn? I feel like I often see it with no traps at all
I dont even know if i want to play 1 off this card tbh

If you’re playing furn lab evenly doesn’t usually work because you’re aiming to set a welcome in end. For stun or trap heavy lab I’d say go for it
@@Pineapple_YGOcap you just don’t set a welcome if you have evenly in hand and evenly could win you the game?

Well most rescue end boards include iblee as well. So I really don’t think evenly is all that great

ditch welcome lab so little knight can be live
You can also just make little night before activating it lol
I still run 2 welcome labyrinth but i try to not activate it unless completely necessary.
Also if you play s:p, definitely play Dharc no?
Only Welcome limits you, and with Arias typically being on the board as an extra body it's easy to justify a Dharc, but Extrava hurts a lot.
