Tbf Eldlich was carried super hard by floods. Most of this is just Labrynth on their own, the EEVs and Barriers are just icing on the cake. But man i am hoping the latter 2 cards get banned now, this is getting wild

TBC, after this it's said that the princess itself cannot contain her excitement and proceeded to change into her battle uniform (lady), rushing straight to the knight location while the castle is still full of active traps (hence her protections). So we should have 1 more final welcome labrynth normal trap where the princess "welcome(d)" the knight herself. That should be conclusion of the lore i guess.

A control deck focuses on controlling the game state by disrupting the opponent, amassing resources and replenishing said resources to maintain control of the board, which is literally what this deck does. There's that misconception about a control deck being just flipping cards.

The majority of decks these days play on the opponents turn, this is something that is becoming part of yugioh especially with new decks releasing. Mannadium, branded, floowandereeze, traptrix, kashtira, etc can all play on the opponents turn. The list goes on and on. Also yes labrynth is getting more support. Arias the Labrynth Butler Level 6 ATK 1500 DEF 2500 During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can send this card from your hand or field to the GY; from your hand, either Special Summon 1 "Labrynth" monster, or Set 1 Normal Trap. That Set card can be activated this turn. Transaction Rollback needs to get banned or limited to 1, it just turns any of your D-Barriers or EEVs on grave not even including your Lab cards popping off. It made the deck faster along with Butler and a milled EEV can be activated via Butler. Ban EEV and Transaction Rollback, D-Barrier could stay though at 1 copy.
Instead of rollback why not EEV and barrier alongside any other floodgate? with Agov labrynth a trap deck can for the very first time in the history of yugioh be viable if not good without any floodgate. If Konami really wanted to ban floodgates, they would have done so years ago. Floodgates will always be here and will exist in yugioh until the end of the life cycle, same with generic cards.

Awesome content as usual! I love Labrynth gameplay!! So disheartening to see so many whining over EEV and Floodgates, when we see/saw combo based decks running amok and no one says a thing if it's 5+ negate board alongside a towers and hand traps to cause insta scoop, but sure lets hate on purple cards and all who utilize them🤣
i do enjoy this deck and i maintain that the new butler is a mid card, but if you draw the 3 card combo then ya it can pop off. i think the deck is poorly possitioned rn, but come next banlist we might be getting somewhere is runick and kash get more hits.
As disgusting as Havnis Labrynth was sorta ok for me before but now we desperately need EEV banned, hopefully Dimensional Barrier too, what was Konami thinking?
Deck is perfectly fine with EEV and barrier banned, those cards are what makes labrynth somewhat egregious, cards like rollback or the in archetype labrynth cards shouldn't be hit for the simple fact that traps are such a terrible and slow mechanic that they need such good cards to ever be competitive without floodgates
I think people just arent used to trap decks being good. Labrynth is the first trap deck thats actually good with its own engine. They can easily ban floodgate traps and they are good still
