I love fantasy I love sims I love sims medieval I want dragons and pretty dresses and cool armor and fun duels, running a kingdom, having choices that affect everyone (so being like ruler and choosing where taxes go and what’s allowed like banning mischief and encouraging farming)
The sims 4 should really do a Sims Thought the Ages type pack maybe you get only 1 world but the diferent neighborhoods are theme around diferent ages like maybe one is based in prehistoric period and you get some stone and bone furniture, other is a medieval style and you get more fantasy stuff and other could be a futuristic style with more alien and sci-fi elements, you could explain that there’s a temporal rift in the center of the hood that created the unusual world, also you could get new jobs like Knight (or Dungeoneer if you want to go full dnd) and skills like swordsmanship, Hunter gatherer for the prehistoric one and have bone and stone crafting as new skills, and the Sci-fi could easily have a time traveler active job were you need to visit the rift and the others places to collect stuff and investigate also similar to some events the random townies and visiting sims would get dress in a costume depending on the locations theme as to not break the immersion, I dunno at least give us something interesting and wacky like they used to,
I loved the Sims medieval so much ;7; I even had pirates and nobles pack for it- the whole game was just so fun, for a twist on what felt like the sims 3's engine. also these builds and everything??? gorgeous omg I'm boutta turn newcrest into a medieval wasteland I got IDEAS now
Sims Medieval was a very fun game, though it had tons of bugs to it, I could not set custom eye colours the character's eyes would just reset to default after making them, and the outfits were limiting could not even edit the colour of some parts of the outfits. There was even a DLC extension that was only available via CD and is not available on the EA launcher, it added Pirate profession. The only fun part is that each job had unique abilities based on their job. Also screwing with the Jacoban Priest while taking good care of the Peterson Priest... who I made have secret affair with each other :P If a Sims Medieval 2 was made I'd like to be able to design the building instead of being given a set layout, add a few more interesting professions, and also allow you to give and play the main job sim's family for you can't control the child or spouse.
Aaand now I gotta go CC shopping again for medieval stuff. And maybe I'll deep dive into some historical photos for inspiration. Why must you infect me with the autism (this is a joke I don't mean to offend)
