I built the Haunted Mansion for this challenge if anyone wants to see it. The inside isn't exact because the actual ride is bigger than the facade could fit, but it has rooms inspired by the ride, a graveyard, and is fit so that your Sims could actually live there in comfort... If they don't mind the ghosts. My gallery name is the same as here.
So boys can have either none of the packs of all of the packs and no one will comment, butwith girls someone has to put something like this down 🙄🙄 maybe if u only have base game it means you cant afford all the packs, this comment could have hurt someone! Be careful what u comment!!😑
I love how she calls Baby Yoda/Grogu, Chewbacca XD. All jokes aside these builds are really awesome and I love her commentary. She keeps the Sims 4 entertaining.
The baseball bat and the adventurer stuff on the table in the cabin are both rewards from the Criminal career, so that leads me to believe the person in the cabin knew very well about the jewels and statues hidden in the forest... if you get my drift...
These builds were so cool. I really enjoyed building stuff for this challenge as I only have base game. Sad that mine wasn't included but I'm so proud of how much I've progressed in building anyway. Yeah, I learned a few things building mine (which wasn't scrolled past--I guess it was too far down the page) as well. I'll check out yours, sounds interesting. Mine was "The Pastel Palace", and even though I accidentally built it facing the wrong way (!) I do feel like I improved a bit while making it.

I mean no one has $689.66 USD just lying around to buy a game with unfix bugs(and even now bugs from old expansions are still in the game) and copy paste gameplay where the only thing the game really is, is an architect simulator and model maker :/ Honestly though would u rather I give u sims 4 base game only vs idk.. minecraft(or something similar)? not really a hard choice aint it. one is a one time payment with constant updates meanwhile the other u have to pay for EACH update (expansions,gamepack,etc) yet still less superior than its predecessor XD
Yeah!! A bunch of the builds I was rooting for got into the video! I knew the supervillain lair and Dino mall would make it! 💙 Mine didn’t, but that’s okay- I got a lot of nice comments on it and that’s enough of a boost to my self esteem. 😂

Like, as soon as I START to think I'm getting good-ish...nope! But mine was possibly the biggest, most elaborate build I'VE done yet. It was a palace. A fairy-tale palace up on a forested mountaintop, with towers and crenellations. Inside I decorated with only old-fashioned looking things and fancy things, AND everything had to be pastel if possible, in addition to basegame and oldfashioned. Towers, a mirrored ballroom, a library, fully-decorated large bedrooms... There's even a grand throne room with fountains and statues and step-platforms up to the throne, which has fancy curtains and a royal seal behind it...I figured out how to make functional rather than just decorative balconies...overall it took days. And, since I build with basegame-only on purpose _all the time_, I figured I MIGHT have a shot this time? Nope. ...it wasn't, in fact, even scrolled past. I looked carefully and paused often when she was in the gallery. Didn't see it. Sorry, it's just...you think you're starting to get good at something, a thing that you do often even, and the REALLY good people _still_ make you feel like a dumb little baby...I'm just a bit depressed right now. I've improved, but I'll NEVER be as good as those people. It's called "The Pastel Palace" by Queen_Zelynda if anybody is still reading this way too long pity-party of a post.

the curved panels over the patios are just curved roofs, like 2-3 tiles wide. You should check out what The Sims Stream does with curved roofs (she makes fantasy book builds and they are INCREDIBLE). Lord of the Rings book for example: ruclips.net/video/17MKgHOcA_c/видео.html
Fun fact for gardening: best fertilizers you can use are actually decaying bodies. Bone is fantastic calcium, blood is a repellant for pests and gives decent iron to the soil, and the decay of flesh provides most of the nutrients that a plant needs. Which is also why you can buy bone meal and blood meal for your plants.

I made an entire freaking PALACE in nothing but basegame, _and_ with a color scheme, that had a throne room with the throne on step-platforms and high-up tower bedrooms and elegant panelling and fancy paintings and rugs everywhere, took me days to make...and it STILL can't compare to these! All the ones that get shown in these videos are SO MUCH MORE CREATIVE. (Mine actually WAS innocent though. I _thought_ about making a dungeon underground, but I had no idea how. :P)
another comment. about the question at 15:57 there is a build too you can acess where the walls and platforms are. its a rounded plattform with a fence around it. i think you can also plop wall there instead of a fence (edit: or the rounded roof but flat, not sure)

Basegame _does_ have some pretty stuff--well, depending on your idea of "pretty". The COLORS might not be what I'm looking for, but there's some decently _shaped_ furniture... I really do hate the lack of carpets, though. There are SO FEW OF THEM.
