Great video, cleared up all questions. Loved the saddlebag comment. Actually, if you don't know how to remove your saddlebags, return the bike to the dealer for a refund.
I have V&H slip-on installed the same way, it's been a few year's. Now the slip-on are coming out on ride after fully tighting the clamp. Any solution pls 🙏
I have a 1993 FLHS. I just bought Krome Werks headers and I’m looking for the right slip on to pair with it. Any suggestions. I’m looking to cruise on the highways. I have an Andrew’s cam and a Super G carb. The bike had some cheap fishtail slip Ins that eventually gave way. Help me out here?
all Stock MAPP have quite a window for installing Slip on mufflers , it when you go to true Duals and change your air cleaner from Stock to high flow Aftermarket you have to install a tuner, like stage 1, or take it to a dealer to have it MApped to match the Fuel/Air ratio for the new mixture
I ride 2015 Custom 1200 (XL1200c). Is there any other parts that we need to change\fix (like fule packs, spark plugs, ....) to the bike to use VnH mini-grenade mufflers ??
Always good to add a tuner (like a FP3) when you change your exhaust. The only other thing you would need would be a fresh set of exhaust gaskets. Plugs aren't a must have but would be a good time to change them.
R.J. Moser Hard to say without checking them all, but if you don't have the install specs for yours I would say that would be a safe bet on a set of mufflers for a HD.
Is there any way to adjust the side-to-side alignment of the slip-on mufflers? Is it just a matter of pushing the bracket to one side or the other of the grommet? I am asking because the dealer installed my V&H Hi-Outputs as part of my bike purchase, and I just noticed that they are cockeyed when looking from the back. The left muffler is much further to the outside.
+BrewCityRider You can get slight adjustment with the Hi-Output slip ons. If you loosen the two bolts that go to the V&H bracket at the rear and the clamp at the front of the muffler, you can twist the muffler body a little to get proper alignment. You may also check to ensure that the crossover pipe hasn't slipped out any from where it meets the head pipe as that would also cause a misalignment. I hope this helps. If you see us set up at a rally feel free to have one of our installers check to make sure everything is properly installed.
I have a 2018 Sportster 48 and want to put Vance & Hines slip-ons. Are the slip-ons compatible with a Screaming Eagle tuner? Any recommendations on tuners for the slip-ons?
depends if the tuner you are using has tunes available for the pipes you want to run. An FP3 for instance would have tunes available for the V&H mufflers . If you are looking to use a V&H exhaust I highly recommend the V&H FP3 tuner.
What is wrong with the stock pipes ? They are nice and quiet, and don't disturb anybody! They are not going to make a Harley fast because that's impossible!

Hi there, need help and recommendation for V&H slip ons for a 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 FI pls! Thank you!
I have a 2005 sportster custom,do I have to play around with the o2 sensor when replacing a slip on?
do they make these for 2015 freewheeler
Which slip ons sounds good on sportstar?
My 2015 Road Glide has 2 O2 sensors so shouldn't the O2 sensors do there jobs and the computer should adjust itself accordingly

Is 40 ft/lbs a standard torque spec for most Vance and Hines slipon exhaust?

If you are watching this video on 2022 know that the FP3 will instantly void your warranty.
