To anyone interested, the name of the anime is "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish", or "Josee to Tora to Sakana-Tachi". It's being animated by Studio Bones. They were responsible for the animes "Eureka Seven", "Mob Psycho", "Ouran Highschool Host Club", "Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood", "Noragami", "Carole and Tuesday", "My Hero Academia" and many more to name. It's about a marine biology student who becomes a caretaker for a girl in a wheelchair who calls herself "Josee". If I'm not mistaken the movie came out in 2020, but it'll take a while for it to reach your respective countries.
I think it's "Josee, the tiger and the fish." I'm Japanese and just saw the movie today but Josee(the heroine) was not a metaphor of a tiger. It's like when you want to connect three things like when you want to say: I like A, B and C. Also, "と" means "and" and you don't use it when you want to represent something like: Shakespeare the poet. By the way, the movie was so awsome and I hope you guys would be able to see the movie as soon as possible! I don't usually cry in movies but there were tears in my eyes while I was watching this one.

The scene where he's spinning Josee around in his arms and they're both laughing melts me from inside out. It's so heartfelt. I cant wait to watch this movie and see their relationship blossom.
I love how this song perfectly fits the movie. I love how realistic the movie is, sure it's great to have someone by your side, but that doesn't mean always, like how Tsuneo pursued his career and went to Mexico even without Kumiko, the trust, support, and love between them is so beautiful

I cried so many times watching this movie, I am in college to study marine biology and an artist. This hit me way harder than I could’ve imagined. This movie hits different tbh Its overwhelmingly realistic Because this theme really applies in the real life too like long distance relationships, most relationships last even after a long period of time but some dont so im happy about the ending of this movie it’s so wholesome and wonderful 10/10
It's not that Eve has finally become big enough to sing for films and tv series. Its anime industry finally making tv-series and films that are finally worthy of Eve.
His past releases is literally overwhelming to the point he gets noticed worldwide. Words cannot express how everyone is emotionally attached to him through his amazing voice.
This song is so heartwarming. Same goes to the anime movie For anyone who hasn't watch the movie, definitely recommend you to watch the movie. Its just that itd ending was quite sad rather than the anime adaptation and the story is quite difficult to understand (probably because of the lack of visual effects) but the live action like the anime version also manage to portray the message it wants to tell to the audience
Just finished, I believe my fourth rewatch now, just a few days ago. This movie holds a very special place in my heart. Not only because of the romance or the music which is all great, but I love the message of empathy that is echoed throughout the whole movie. I am a selfish person at heart believing that I should work only on my own goals and not worry about others. But this movie shows that, while it is good to have goals and take care of yourself, it is also good to be that angel that lifts some one else up when they don't believe in themselves. Even if it isn't possible to understand what someone is going through, it is possible to at least understand that they are hurting or don't have a sense of confidence, and to just be there for them because sometimes that is enough. I know from experience that to at least have your struggles be heard and empathized with is such a weight to take off of yourself. Anyways I need to finish taking notes on my chemistry lecture, good day to you all.
JESUS CHRIST!!!!! I know we're all praising Eve the amount that he deserves but man! Just look at how astonishingly GORGEOUS this film looks. Also Eve seems to really like water and cities, I can't blame them I love them too, plus Eve voice is so fresh and magical it makes me think of hope, water and dreams. It makes me think of water so much that I can't hold my tears each time I ear their voice.

The fact that she's willing to go through all the years of loneliness again if that means she'll get to meet him again in the future is just so genuine. It's really amazing how much meeting the right person can change how we view the whole world. It's just so beautiful that it makes me cry.
I found the show in Netflix; aptly in thr critically aclaimed shows; this show is just beautiful; in terms of animation, story and ofc music especially Ao No Waltz, I'll definitely rewatch this again in couple years
There’s something about Eve-kun with ballad-like songs. To me, his signature laid-back tone in his ANGELIC voice flows really well with mellow instrumentals. Honestly i think it’s a blessing to have a voice like that but that also means he has less versatility compared to other singers with more “full” voices. However Eve-kun never fails to make use of his vocals to the fullest; paper-thin, yet vibrant is what I like to describe it in my head (lol sorry i’m no musician idk any technical words). This is one of the reasons why i really respect him for who he is, apart from him being self-producing and has no bad songs. Love him since BUNKA, happy that he is getting all the recognition he deserves (I think kaikaikitan made Eve so freakin popular worldwide esp in the anime community)! 大学受験が迫ってくる中どうしてもどうしてもこの映画が観たくて初日の今日観てきました。
映画を観る前は青春ラブコメかな~とか思ってた自分が馬鹿らしく思えてきました笑登場人物それぞれの苦悩、葛藤、失敗、成長が詰まっていて頑張っている彼らを観て努力すること諦めないことがとても大切なのだと再確認したのちこの状況下で応援されてるように頑張る私たちを肯定してくれている感じました。特に挿入歌が流れたシーンは大号泣してしまいました、、(観ればきっとこのシーンが分かります笑)

当時Eveさんにハマっててそれがきっかけで行こうと思って結局行かなかったけどプライムにあって見てきた、本編と曲で感動して泣いたわ、劇場で見なかったの後悔してる、ホンマええ作品やわ

Its just that itd ending was quite sad rather than the anime adaptation and the story is quite difficult to understand (probably because of the lack of visual effects) but the live action like the anime version also manage to portray the message it wants to tell to the audience

Just finished, I believe my fourth rewatch now, just a few days ago. This movie holds a very special place in my heart. Not only because of the romance or the music which is all great, but I love the message of empathy that is echoed throughout the whole movie. I am a selfish person at heart believing that I should work only on my own goals and not worry about others. But this movie shows that, while it is good to have goals and take care of yourself, it is also good to be that angel that lifts some one else up when they don't believe in themselves. Even if it isn't possible to understand what someone is going through, it is possible to at least understand that they are hurting or don't have a sense of confidence, and to just be there for them because sometimes that is enough. I know from experience that to at least have your struggles be heard and empathized with is such a weight to take off of yourself. Anyways I need to finish taking notes on my chemistry lecture, good day to you all.

JESUS CHRIST!!!!! I know we're all praising Eve the amount that he deserves but man! Just look at how astonishingly GORGEOUS this film looks. Its right next to Your Name , A Silent Voice and of course Garden of Words. MAD RESPECT from me who wants to create anime in the future, TO EVERYONNE INVOLVED IN THE MAKING OF THIS FILM. Also Eve seems to really like water and cities, I can't blame them I love them too, plus Eve voice is so fresh and magical it makes me think of hope, water and dreams. It makes me think of water so much that I can't hold my tears each time I ear their voice.

There’s something about Eve-kun with ballad-like songs. To me, his signature laid-back tone in his ANGELIC voice flows really well with mellow instrumentals. Honestly i think it’s a blessing to have a voice like that but that also means he has less versatility compared to other singers with more “full” voices. However Eve-kun never fails to make use of his vocals to the fullest; paper-thin, yet vibrant is what I like to describe it in my head (lol sorry i’m no musician idk any technical words). This is one of the reasons why i really respect him for who he is, apart from him being self-producing and has no bad songs.
Love him since BUNKA, happy that he is getting all the recognition he deserves (I think kaikaikitan made Eve so freakin popular worldwide esp in the anime community)! Keep wrecking us with your falsettos Eve-kun.
And keep destroying those cities man because we never get bored of em MVs (and the jokes that follows HAHAH)
