Genius ! I have to replace the axle beam mounts on my Partner Tepee Mk II which has the same arrangement. Peugeot make it a marathon job but you did it in a much easier way. I rarely follow anyone on You tube but you are the Man. Such a brilliant job and without a full workshop or special tools. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Thank you !

    Great job video!
    I own RCZ in Japan.
I'm planning on replacing the rear bushings this weekend.
I noticed that it is the same rear suspension as this video.
    You saved me!
    Thank you🙏🙏

Excellent video thank you. Were these worn bushings causing a knocking sound when you went over bumps?

I dont think you need to put the bushes back in exactly the same position as the one which came out. I know even official service data says so, but why? Think about it. The bush is only to isolate the axle from the car. The spring and shock control rotation of axle. Main thing is not to stress the bushes so only tighten long mounting bolt when the car is level on the ground. This means bush is un-stressed, rotation wise, when car is sat on ground. On my car, the two bushes were at very different angles in the axle. I replaced them both at same angle, effectively "vertical". Car is perfect.

Thank you very much bro. I wasn't aware of that. I hope others will see your advice. 👍

Hi there, im changing too and thinking about angle of bushes... Effectivily vertical, you say. How do you mean by that?

@mytube5340 No, it doesn't matter. I thought the bush had to go back to the same angle as the old one. Just press the bush on the frame and tighten the pin after putting the car back on the ground.

Maybe it doesnt matter how to place the bushing But its recommenden that "The bushing rubber nub must be precisely aligned to the rear axles lower edge" to ensure correct installation..

Will the front drop down when bush bolt are removed , with rear shocks and springs still in place as when jacked up there will be no pressure on them

I never thought it that way. Maybe that could work and save a lot of time removing the springs and shocks.
Please let us know if that works. Thanks bro 🙏

There are other ways to remove it. If you have good tools, like a bush or bearing press, it would be quicker and easier and more professional, not like me, the poor guy who is trying everything to fix his own car.🤣

Because I can't hold the phone and remove at the same time. I am limited in resources at the moment. That will come in the future.
