Thank you for watching my video, I appreciate the support !
I do like finding the problem and getting a fix. It makes me feel like I did something good. You did something good by posting this process.
Gotta love those keyboard mechanics getting mad at someone making content and showing how to test. Thanks for another great video
Alot of people looking to fix their car just want a straight answer (change this part) , they see a video of testing before changing and they get upset because somehow you've wasted their time...
@@themechanic6117 people are dumb. Its the one thing in life that never changes
Nice I agree with your trouble shooting process

Thanks for lowering the intro! My Acura TL did the same thing. I think not enough cooling gets to that side of the engine and the module overheats causing failure. Also ask if the owner idles the car alot, that'll will cause excessive heat on that side since it's blocked by the actual engine. I used to eat lunch in the car and it idles with the A/C on, stupid me...
Yes I remembered 👍
Good video, anyone can remove a bolt and change a coil the whole point is to show why u need to change the coil and how u come to that diagnosis
Good video 👍. I've also had customer installed brand new Bosch plugs cause misfires on a 01 accord v6. His plugs were tight, but they were Bosch and something about that brand doesn't jive with Hondas. Couldn't believe it myself until i put NGKs in it.
Ive seen the wrong plugs make a car run like crap also caused lack of power. If i didnt find a bad coil and we really did have misfires on all cylinders i would have suspected the plugs. 👍 thanks for the comment
Great job Jonathan. Thanks for sharing! 👍
Thank you. Thanks for dropping a comment
Man my 2000 Honda Accord had this EXACT PROBLEM to the tee. Same coil
Those V6s were known for blocked intake passages due to EGR issues.
When i first saw multiple misfires the EGR passage was the first thing that came to mind
Good job Jonathan! 👍 Go through the diagnosis routine is the best way to go. Don't mind the prophets and psychics 😂😂😂
Great concept, wrong media.
Take your interested child to a U-Pull-It or Scrapyard/Boutique d'ordure
and have at it. If something breaks, it's not leaving you stranded & costing.
Skills like getting the "feel" for fasteners must be learned- not taught.
I agree with you. Even if you were teaching your child, go back and double check what they did
Nice! You’re the best!
Thankyou for this

What if u change the plug and the coils n it still popping up code 9141-2 that all cylinders are misfiring what's next
I have engine code P0132 and P1399. I change the the 1 ignition coil. Then the P1399 code disappear. But not P0132. What you think could be the problem? I watch some other video's saying the fuel ⛽️ injector need to be change.
Sounds like a problem regarding a oxygen sensor...
@@themechanic6117 I also change 2 02 sensor
So I have this same car and engine. I initially changed the plugs and ignition coils at the same time. Seemed to fix the issue at least for a while. Problem is a few months after the coils are changed, I would have a random misfire, change out the ignition coil, fix it for a short time and then start the cycle again. Any ideas? I replaced injectors and the alternator also.
Where are you getting your parts from?
@@themechanic6117 the plugs were from Oreilly. Said OEM replacements and when I did the coils I got them from 1A auto but I've been in to a mechanic to have a few of those original coils replaced
Every engine has a ground strap on it grounding the engine to the body of the car. Locate the ground strap. If it's broken Or full of corrosion then replace it. It's also a possibility of just cheap Chinese parts going bad
What if you have spark wires?
Spark at the end of the wire? If it's a good strong spark then you may have a spark plug issue or something else like compression or fuel injector
I know this video was a while ago but what scan tool do use a link would be amazing
It's the launch diagun 4. You can find them on Amazon or ebay
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Easy fix.
I was hoping the video would be more exciting lol
Not fireing 0:15 0:17
Eh. I dont crank my sparkplug down
Current ramp the coils and injectors off cam?
I did a current ramp of the coils and i looked at it quickly and nothing jumped out at me but i think i only remember seeing 5 ramps on screen.
