I love the Laguna Lace! Remember the video you did of the rocks from Amazon? I had purchased the same gray agates and they were turning out pretty nice. So I bought another batch, same item from same vendor. They arrived pre-cut! Omg, they're gorgeous. I couldn't believe it. I'm tumbling some now, and there are a couple I'm going to try to manually hand polish. Looking forward to seeing you cut those Laguna Lace agates.

Those amethyst geodes look to be from Sonora. Ideally, those are broken open using chisel and hammer, as cutting with a saw could cut through an amethyst crystal. So, you want to try to get the amethyst out like excavating a dinosaur skeleton.
The Red Velvet agate goes well with vanilla icecream!

The Graveyard Point agate, that has Idaho written on it, probably came from the Idaho side.
Graveyard Point is on the border of Oregon and Idaho. It has an abundance of agate. We got a lot of Botryoidal from there.
We are in the PNW, so wanting to take another trip there.
It’s in the high desert, so it gets a little too hot in the summer there.

I'm seriously considering one of those Hi-Tech lapidary saws. Have a few geodes I want a nice clean cut on. Side note, your voice sounds very much like Cortana from Halo. "This cave is not a natural formation." LOL
Lace ones are insane
I found some rocks that looked like someone poured hot pink paint on and figured that's what it was but brought a few home with me and washed them and it stayed on and I hit them with a black light and OMG! The room lit up like a Christmas tree to an even brighter hot pink! I wonder what they are, I'm not having luck identifying rocks

As someone else commented amethyst geodes are intended to be broken open and not cut. I accidentally confused one of mine with a crystalline/sonora geode, and the result made me very sad. They aren't like other geodes with empty lined caverns, rather they have chunkier crystals surrounded by matrix.

Graveyard Point is an area in southwest Idaho full of agates. That is probably why that rock says Idaho

Most, if not all, of the opals sold on Temu are synthetic (or worse). The opal chunks are mostly epoxy or some other plastic that's been broken up.
