I'm so glad someone finally didn't pay Azah dust here. I think middle of the pack is perfect. I keep seeing people ranking her either on par with or even BELOW players like Brent, Travis, Britney, Big D. It was driving me nuts!
Yeah, to be fair we've seen players like her before - decent game sense, but extremely loyal and overtly devoted to being a moral player to a fault. Her being genuinely upset to the point of tears when her fellow cookout members wouldn't throw comps to her was a really pathetic look though lol.
There are serious arguments to put Big D on the worst player of all time list. Agree he is actively terrible at every aspect of the game.
The ironic part about Big D’s goal in the game is that he said he was only in there for the fame and to branch out into a tv career…but nobody likes him😬 he left the house unanimously unpopular! What job is he going to get???? 😬
I’d say that Derek F deserves 16th but Frenchie exists so he can enjoy 15th.
Id love to see Frenchie again ahaha 😂 hes just pure entertainment and someone the cast honestly really needed to help with the stale jury phase as he made the prejury so good to watch
I’d love to see tiff on a return to see how she would do playing a bit more for her self rather then the collective group as a whole and now that she has her Goal of a first African American winner lifted from her I think she could be like big brothers answer to a cirie
I’m a Cirie fan so this to me is a huge compliment.
If she does return I’m hoping the other players don’t instantly recognize her as a threat and get her out 😭

There has been an African American winner in BB. Tamar from celebrity BB2 won without the racist game play. Tychon from BBcan9 won without the racist game. Even thought it is Canada, it has the same format as BBUS. The 50% BIPOC cast made it inevitable for many minorities including black winners. The racism was so dishearteningly unnecessary.
Tiff was playing for herself coz the racist game play protected her to f6. She was banking on KY to take out X leaving her and Hannah to take out Ky. She miss calculated that Ky/X would target her and Hannah (greater comp and jury votes threats) over Azah/DF. Basically she master plan her own dead end game at f6.

I feel bad for non-CO members. Aside from maybe the first 3 boots, they were all victims of circumstance. Had it been any other season, most of them would shoot up the rankings
Hey, if they wised up about the alliance and won when they needed to they could broke through. That’s just how good Tiffany’s master plan was🤷🏾♂️ I think they had a fair chance still
@@duane_313 I wasn't meaning to de-credit tiffany for her strategy. She absolutely rocked it. My point is just that they all played really great social games and had it not been for the majority alliance formed for external reasons, they each woulda had a better shot at the win.
Besides, it's pretty hard to "wise up" to an all minority alliance lol. Any suspicion of it would have been immediately shot down subconsciously. That's why it was so good, because no one expected or could have planned for it.
@@duane_313 Hard to wise up when no one would have thought those that cried the most and suppose to be against racism the most would do racism. Also the four weeks team twist bonding had already placed everyone in loyal teams/duos: the jokers, Britt with Azah/DF; the queens Claire with Tiff; the kings Alysaa with X; SB with Ky by default/attraction. Tiff just highlighted the duos. They all named her most influential aka #1 target to beat/win if in f2.

There were so many good players this season I'm so glad I went back and watched it after skipping out on it because it was honestly a breath of fresh air and one of the best seasons in YEARS. I was so impressed by Tiffany I thought she was a phenomenal player and I absolutely salute her and the rest of the cookout for what they accomplished and I was so happy Xavier won as he was one of my initial picks and I feel like he played a nearly flawless game
I 100% agree with this lists and usually when people make “My Ranking of Big Brother Season Contestants of Whatever Season” I usually feel there’s an outlier but you got this spot on
I do feel bad about Travis. Dude was literally the last choice to be put up and he got completely screwed. If there is ever a Second Chance type of season I would like to see him back.
I think Brent played good for the first week and did awful the rest.
He sweet talked Frenchie over and became his number one.
However my favorite Brent moment is him telling DX he could be backdoored. It was a good move because Frenchie did everything wrong in week one

How is the cookout strategy different from Enzo's brigade strategy?
Assemble members. Have each member get a "2nd" to pair up with while keeping the main alliance safe and secret.
Tiff gets so much credit for coming up with this "great strategy" but it seems like that strategy was already invented.
Nevermind. You at least mention that she essentially stole the brigade strategy. No one has even begun to suggest this is what happened. Kudos to you.

The thing is that I would respect Xavier's game so much more if he made it clear that his strategy was to lay back and let other power players carry the cookout and make themselves become threats but his confessionals really just made him seem so delusional and him taking way too much credit for "carrying the cookout" doesn't help either
Yeah I think X is a worthy winner, he was my winner pick from about week 2, but when I see people place him in the top 5 winners of all time it’s like come on, folks. Likewise, when people have him way down on the list, that also feels like it’s not a rational assessment. He’s good, just not great. A great deal of his success was down to other’s bad reads and dumb decisions vs his own, active gameplay.
But it’s X’s lack of awareness for me - lack of overall game awareness and inability to read people and assess who the top players are - that stunted his ability to rise in rank. That said, his charm, his level-headedness and ability to keep his cool (he kept his frantic pacing mostly to private time 😂), and his comp prowess IMHO means he is set up to always do well in a return season-provided the house doesn’t decide to boot all the prior winners first.
The other thing that hurt him is he was more easily swayed by others’ opinions than I thought he would be. I think a lot of his bad reads were down to spending too much time with Big D & buying into his crap. It would take Hannah a 5 min convo to shake X’s head clear again so I know he’s a very rational person but then he’d Big D spiral all over again 😂
I don’t think he’d make that mistake again, though, so I have to give him credit for being able to admit his faults. If given the chance, I think he’d play differently in future in terms of not being so naive & believing the opinions of other HGs simply b/c it feeds into a narrative that happens to work for his game without stepping back for some serious, unbiased reflection of the game landscape.

Right on with rankings! Throughout the game I figured he would push to get Tiff out because he knew he could not win against her like with all of others and that was only because non-CO did not know the real plays going on behind the scenes. In some ways I still wish CO would have broken up before 6.
Kyland’s game was a lot of one step forward two steps back
I feel like he let his pride and his ego get in the way too much felt like he was too strong to stand on the way he saw things rather than take them at face value for what they were in reality

Fun fact the only people to win nothing this season was Travis, Brent and Big D, 2 of which left pre jury while 1 made it to the final haha

If the cookout doesn’t exist is a scapegoat for everyone except for Tiffany huh .. u really think Tiffany wouldn’t have been taken out by x or kyland if she wasn’t protected also 🤔 .. the biggest fumble in the game is Tiffany not understanding the temperature of the room by winning that hoh .. if she would of let kyland win the hoh she could of kept the target off her back and onto x or kyland but she got greedy at the worst moment ..also Tiffany having to send her own friend home is the biggest flop in bb23 season

DAWG You did NOT just put Derek X that high. He let his ally go week 1, he was manipulated into believing something about HIMSELF, he nominated SB, and didn't play in the nomination roulette despite HER winning HOH and EVEN PRODUCTION telling him to play it. I get you might be a bit biased due to liking him but he was just so sloppy and constantly dismissed obvious threats to his game. Like how do you even get convinced that you did something you didn't do?!
Second of all, CLAIRE IN 6TH?! Her coin of destiny reign was by far the worst move of the damn season. She was a superfan and got manipulated into being a sheep for Tiffany. Alyssa and Sarah Beth are EASILY above those two, they showed more competent thinking for example Alyssa wanting to target Ky and SB successfully backdooring a comp beast that a lot of the house loved.
You're ranking them based on potential when you should more so look at what they did. What ifs are so vague and grey.
I agree with the DX ranking but I think Claire is too high. Yes she’s a super fan but that didn’t translate into great game play at all. She got played by Tiffany the whole time and she was not winning any comps even when she was trying and needed too. I don’t think Claire should be asked to return 😬🤷🏾♂️

The fact that Big D even made the list is insane to me. He played so poorly with such a poor attitude that you could have put his ass on a honorable mention list and I wouldn’t be mad.
He was saved by being in the CO, and by X picking him for a final 2 because X knew that he would easily win against him.

Whitney and DX were my finalists and I thought DX would win. I still think without the cookout, they would not be bad
I feel like DX would be targeted before final 5 tho because he was a really good player. I think without the cookout he would have gotten 6,5, or 4 place.
I reckon without the Cookout, Big D and Britini could go home in weeks 5 to 6, before Azah in week 7 with it being the Royal Flush and Hannah, where I think the core 4 could flip the game and use Christian and Alyssa to target Kyland by taking SB out in 9th, then Xavier could get taken out along the way, where then Christian and Kyland probably go in the 6-8th range, Alyssa could survive if DX is too much of a threat, where then Alyssa and Dx get 4th and 5th, then I think Tiff needs the Final HOH or she probably is too much of a threat
This video would be better if it wasn't just about popularity and it was more about legitimate arguments and scenarios

I hope Clair comes back for a all star season. She was my favorite house guest and I was so sad that the cookout didn't lose power or didn't get exposed. Clair is a queen who I would love to see comeback.
christian is last pre jury not pre merge boot
My problem with ranking claire and ESPECIALLY DX so high, is that, without the cookout, I think they have a Hannah/Claire/DX/Tiffany group, which is great. But... Who else do they have? Not Ky, not SB, not Britini, not Xavier, not DF, not Azah, not Alyssa. Meaning that in the early jury they likely just get picked off easily. The second Christian goes, Tiffany and DX completely signed their games away and ceded control to the much larger other side of the house
Derek X used the veto on Kyland in week 1 and so Kyland could have gotten him on good terms with SB too. Britini seemed to like Derek X and was genuinely upset seeing him in jury, but I think I need to watch the early season again to be sure.
@@khntou4178 The problem is that by the time of jury DF/Azah/Xavier were solidifying against tiffany for the endgame. Given what an obvious threat she and DX were, and the boy's influence over KY, I don't see Ky using his HOH on britini this time around, instead going for one of DX or Hannah pretty likely. Meaning when sarah beth wins HOH the next week she likely goes for Tiff. And even though Britini liked DX and Tiff, she was always gonna side with DF and Azah
@@brianregan5933 hm i was just assuming that under the condition that there's no cookout, Kyland is still gonna have his whole ego thing where he wants to compete against the best. I don't see a situation where an all male alliance of the best comp players doesn't form. This is usually what happens on most seasons. Derek X using veto on Kyland is gonna naturally lead into that.
Opinions sure do vary.

Hmmm I think the Kings + Kyland would’ve been the core alliance especially since they won a lot of the comps, they would’ve dominated and the Claire/Tiff/Hannah/DX alliance goes out pretty early jury still I think
No way, tiff had Alyssa and Christian in her pocket, they were going to the end with her and Claire if they had had the chance. If the cookout didn’t exist I think Tiff would have made Christiana and dx work together.

I agree with most of this, i would only put DX between Christian and Alyssa
DX is way too high, put himself in a bad situation in the beginning of the game, then made a terrible move getting rid of Christian which was against his best interest.
How I think BB 23 would’ve gone if the Cookout stuck to their plan of just getting the 6 to jury:
Pre-jury stays the same
Dx, Claire, Tiff, Chaddha, and Azah flip on Big D- Big D is juror #1
SB still takes out DX, then gets taken out the next week
No way Tiff puts up Claire at 8, I’d say she most likely takes out X
Hannah wins double HOH and prob gets out Kyland, final six of Tiff Chaddha Claire Brit Azah Alyssa
Either Alyssa or Claire prob wins F6 HOH,
Claire prob takes out Alyssa and Chaddha prob convinces Alyssa to take out Azah/Brit
Double prob takes out Alyssa and Brit, order is switched based on who wins F6 HOH
Core of Tiff Claire and Hannah more than likely take out Azah at 4
F3- Tiff and Hannah prob take each other where Tiff wins
Claire prob cuts Tiff then Hannah wins
More than likely a Tiffany victory and a much more entertaining season

I like the idea Tiff win BB23 and DX win AFH. However a slight change. DF evicted instead of Britt. Tiff/Hannah did not limited their game loyalty to skin color and encourage DX to play the roulette instead against playing it. DX win roulette and Alyssa evicted. Claire or Dx coin of destiny take out X. Tiff hoh takes out SB. Tiff/Claire/Hannah/Britt/Azah vs Ky/Dx.
if there is no cookout x doest let Christian go as soon. and doesn't throw that many comps
This season was so bad. Playing exclusively based on race is ridiculous
One of my favorite groups of players, but definitely not my favorite season.
No disrespect to the Cookout or their goals, but the game kinda became boring when they let Britni go and really solidified “Cookout Strong!”
I guess my resentment is more for the other side of the house for never really rallying.
In my opinion the cookout ruined a lot of the strategy for the season. A lot of ppl played actively worse than what they should’ve because the cookout existed, ppl like tiff and Hannah, other ppl got saved almost purely because of the cookout, ppl like df and azah, and it stifled actual alliances that would’ve happened, like ones with dx, Hannah, claire, and tiff, maybe one with x, Christian, Alyssa, and the duo of ky and sb. It just put ppl together who wouldn’t have been natural alliances. Now granted I understand WHY it happened, and I’m fine with it, but that doesn’t mean I have to be a fan of it. Kinda ruined the midgame of the season for me. Pretty much as soon as dx got booted I stopped watching until the final 6 because I knew who they would be. Not fun to watch.

If you look at it as strictly gameplay. Convincing players to stay loyal to an alliance that actively hurts their game is pretty impressive.
@@spaghettioverlord3247 obviously it is, but the only person that alliance benefitted since day 1 was x and everyone was still misted enough to go with it. X is a great player for sure but the alliance happened basically on day 1, so it wasn’t even like he convinced anyone, they were all willing
Tiffany said it out her own mouth that it was a good move for kyland bc she would of came after him too.. but she seems to forget that once she left the house 😂

i feel like derek x was kinda overrated this season. taking out christian was a massive mistake as it makes him the biggest threat left in the house and even without the cookout existing, he probably would’ve been taken out around mid-jury by someone not in his alliance
I feel like people don’t take into account that Christian was so good at those comps, that he could have been about to win out and DX and Christian were targeting each other hard, hard. Sure, if they both knew the game better and forced themselves to work together (or Tiffany had been more self interested and made them work together) that would have been ideal, but Christian was about to kick out DX. If it hadn’t been for the BB Bucks DX wouldn’t have been send out as early as he was, either. Tiff was pretty set on him staying over Claire and I think they could have made it happen if the coin of destiny hadn’t been tainting the week.
@@mandelade yeah, he did get pretty unlucky to go out as early as he did. but even if he stayed, it was just delaying the inevitable and eventually he would’ve been taken out if someone like kyland or xavier won hoh. i do understand that christian needed to go, but final twelve was too early. eventually, there would’ve been comps that didn’t suit christian’s abilities and he would’ve been taken out before dx. and even if christian went after him, d would’ve had the votes to stay as long as he wasn’t sitting next to hannah or tiffany
@@nizzle428 the thing is he would have gone home on an Xavier HOH anyway, cause x wouldn’t have put up Christian. From what we know of the endgame comps Christian was set up incredibly (he only lost one of the comps he actually tried to win up until that point and in the last few years the endgame comps got more physical. With Christian and Alyssa together (and X not targeting them) every week of leaving Christian in was one more to allow him to pull a Michi. Again, with the combo of DX not expecting to work with Christian (again, I see that as a mistake, but I do understand why he didn’t try) and them both not being aware of the cookout I don’t think it was as bad as a move as it’s being made out to be.
I think Azah should have been before Christian...maybe after big D.
I would switch Ky with Hannah strictly because Kyland had horrible jury management and would’ve 100% lose against her

I know it’s not a popular opinion but I thought Tiffany didn’t play that great of a game, she was always the first to go in the cookout and didn’t do anything to change it. She was always asserting subtly how well she was playing. She never really minimized her target and actually could have made a run to the end if she was more self aware. She took things personally and went based on feelings. I believe she was very egotistical and it was her downfall, that being said as much as I dislike them I think X and Kyland played a much better game.
Azah should’ve been in Sarah Beth spot in ranking

@@dragon_guy9373 I have a rule with my playerrankings where if you made it to the end, you are automatically in the top 5. This rule is the only reason big d is as high as he is.
@@WilsonReviews That rule is trash. Big D only made it far because he was dumb. If he was actually a smart player he would have been evicted before hannah or tiffany. They knew he was a bad game player and everyone would vote for whoever he was with in the finally no matter who it was.

Azah is ranked WAY too high. There were times where I questioned if she even knew what game she was playing. She’s better than Big D but that’s not saying much.

Tiffany played a horrible game & was greatly influenced by the cool out just like you said about multiple people, she got every single person within the cookout to mistrust her because she was plying so hard & constantly went against what she said she was going to do. Tiff is hardly the best player. Her game is too out in the open as everyone let her worked the house/front line. Tiff did the most to benefit the f4 the most. They named her most influential aka #1 target to beat/win if in f2. Basically Tiff master plan her dead end game f6 coz she limited her game loyalty to skin color. She miss calculated that Ky/X would take out her/hannah over Azah/DF, lesser comp and jury votes threats. She banked too much on Ky taking out X leaving her/Hannah to take out Ky.
Best players played their game under the radar like X and Azah. X needed to win when he has to, and Azah only needed to play a flawless coaster game until she has to take out hannah and convince DF to keep her over Ky. DF was locked into second price the moment he enter BB house so he did not have to do much unnecessarily.

Tiff literally said yeah ima hand u that check in 3 weeks during her eviction. And in regards to the ‘hypotheticals’ throughout the video. I don’t even think that’s fair but like, say there’s no cookout, it’s very possible X teams up with a core of Christian and Alyssa with satellite alliances and they steamroll.
Alyssa was a better player than both DX & Claire imo

Meranian Review don't you dare compare Tiffany's game to Eric's. It isn't the same literally and metaphorically. Eric didn't have a choice genuinely and had to be America's player. Tiffany chose to have intentions to push an all black alliance to final 6 at the expense and detriment of even her own game. She didn't have to. She chose to. She controls her own vote and volition. Eric and her are NOT the same. I don't even think i need to prove to you her racial intentions behind the Cookout. Yes she'd be crucified if she betrayed an alliance that is fighting for a cause as they say but at the end of the day, your own game comes first no questions asked. I agree, kyland had a good competition game and strategic game, but he is just a ass of a person. u need a social, physical, and strategic game to be a good game player, so imo kyland isn't that good. #overrated.
I agree I said before I really think that Kyland really let his ego and pride hurt him his inability to to adapt and humble himself for the betterment of his game is what ultimately ended him that last shot that he took at Xavier was completely uncalled for and was a complete microcosm of why he lost the game in my opinion

Christian is not a good player lol he got outplayed in ever way also Kyland did not convince dx to go after Christian, dx was going after him for a while and Kyland couldn’teven get him to not nominate Sb. He also didn’t do anything for the Christian week because dx put in work with the jokers to make them feel included whereas Tiffany iced them out. Kyland did not have influence over dx HOH or week 5 in general. Dx had the most control that week not even Tiffany or Xavier got their way 😐.
